Math Session Planner
A skill-by-skill, domain-mapped tutoring schedule built from the official College Board Digital SAT
Math test specifications.

1. Section Snapshot
The Math section of the digital SAT is 44 questions across two 35-minute modules (70 minutes total, ~1
minute 35 seconds per question). Questions are drawn from four content domains, each with its own
official question-distribution target:
Domain Code Weight Skills Sessions Notes
Algebra A ~35% 5 5 -
Advanced Math M ~35% 3 7 Adds rational & radical equations
Problem-Solving and Data
D ~15% 7 7 Adds inference & study design
Analysis
Geometry and Trigonometry G ~15% 4 4 Adds circles
Across all four domains, the official framework used to build this plan totals 19 distinct skill / knowledge testing points,
mapped into 24 tutoring sessions.
2. How Sessions Were Planned
Every skill / knowledge testing point published in College Board's official Math specifications is assigned at
least one dedicated session, so nothing in the tested framework is skipped.
Algebra and Geometry and Trigonometry map one skill to one session, since each named skill is a
self-contained topic. Advanced Math, the single largest domain, is taught across 7 sessions instead of 3:
its official skill “Nonlinear equations in 1 variable and systems of equations in 2 variables” is broken into
the distinct equation families the College Board description itself names — absolute value and quadratic,
exponential, and polynomial / rational / radical — plus a dedicated session on mixed linear-nonlinear

systems, closing with a mixed, timed practice session.
Problem-Solving and Data Analysis is the most skill-diverse domain (7 distinct testing points, from ratios
through statistical-claim evaluation), so it receives one focused session per skill even though its overall
question weight (~15%) is lower than Algebra or Advanced Math — breadth of content, not just question
count, drives session count here.
The plan closes with a full-length, timed practice session covering both modules, used to diagnose
remaining weak points across all four domains before test day.
3. SAT Math - Session Plan (24 Sessions)
Covers all four content domains in full, following the official Digital SAT Math test specifications.
