respiratory diseases.
For example, people living near busy roads may suffer from asthma or breathing difficulties.
As a result, traffic congestion can negatively affect both public health and the urban
environment.

2. Solution: Improve public transport

Main idea: The most effective solution is to improve public transport systems.
This is because reliable and affordable buses and trains can encourage people to leave their
private cars at home.
Develop: If fewer individuals drive to work, the number of vehicles on the roads will decrease
significantly.
