Why study? Why cram? Why fill up the page?

P-S-L-E—four letters, one fuckin’ cage.

Wake up, school, sleep, same cycle, same stage,
Livin’ in a matrix, just trapped in a maze.

Tired of this cycle, I’m losin’ my mind,

Everybody chasin’ numbers, always runnin’ behind.
Study over safety, they keep drawin’ the line,
Tell me how the hell that’s supposed to be a sign?

“Keep your head down.” “Just revise.” “You’ll be fine.”

Heard it a trillion times, now I’m numb inside.
Every damn second got a clock in my face,
Every damn minute feels like another rat race.

Stack another worksheet, stack another test,

Sacrifice tomorrow just to beat the fuckin’ rest.
Pressure on my shoulders like a mountain on my chest,
Smile for a second, then it’s right back to the stress.

They say it’s “for the future,” yeah, I’ve heard that from the speech,
But the future keeps movin’ just beyond my reach.
Read another chapter, memorize another sheet,
Still askin’ myself, “When the hell can I breathe?”

I’m sick of pretendin’ that I’m perfectly okay,

When every damn morning feels exactly the same.
Study, study, study—repeat it every day,
Like I’m just another number in a system-built game.

Maybe knowledge matters, maybe that’s the truth,

But somewhere in the process people sacrifice their youth.
I’m not afraid of work—I just question the design,
‘If it costs yourself, then what’s the finish line?

So I keep on walkin’ through this concrete maze,

Tryna find a reason through the pressure and the haze.
Maybe one day we’ll remember what we’re livin’ for instead,
Not just grades on a paper—but the lives that we have led.

Pressure, pressure, buildin’ till I’m ready to break,

Every lesson, every test, every move gotta fake.
Wake, study, sleep, then repeat for the fuckin’ sake,
How much more of myself do they honestly take?
Tick-tock, big clock, never givin’ me space,
Heart stops, jaw locked, every breath is a race.
Brain hot, bloodshot, every thought out of place,
Still they tell me, “Keep up,” with a smile on their face.

I’m losin’ my mind but I’m bottlin’ rage,

Tryna stay calm while I’m trapped in this cage.
Everybody says, “It’s just one little stage,”
Then why the fuck’s it feelin’ like I’m payin’ a wage?

Stack up the papers, attack every page,

Back to the class, then back to the grades.
Back to the stress, then back to the pain,
Back to the cycle again and again.

Sick of the pressure, the lectures, the measures,

The checkers, the records, the endless “do better.”
I’m not a number, a graph, or a letter,
I’m more than a score that they print on the header.

I’m yellin’ inside but I’m quiet outside,

Everybody thinks that I’m perfectly fine.
Fightin’ my thoughts while I’m fallin’ behind,
Just tryna survive in this factory line

Study so hard for what
Me and my bro are out here at HarbourFront
Listen to my bars for once, I promise I’m not bombing
The least of teacher’s dominance
Why you act so ominous?
Just be optimistic and positive
But call it a day, these books might get quite volatile
Venomous teeth, the school’s stuck in a unanimous beat
Every word you animals read, damages the thalamus
The malice, I’m not a fan of this shit
Snap out of this dance, I’m outta here

(rap)
Rapidly rattlin', trapped in a pattern, I'm packin' a backpack of panic and pressure.
Stackin' the packets and practicin', passin' the classes but never feelin' any better.
Tickin' and clickin', the seconds are slippin', I'm grippin' the desk till I'm crackin' the wood.
Study or suffer, they tell me it's simple, but honestly, who says this system is good?
Losing my mind while I'm bottling anger, pretending I'm fine but I'm barely surviving.
Wake up and work till I sleep, then repeat it again—is this really what people call living?
Grades on a paper ain't measuring spirit, they're measuring moments remembered in silence.
Question the system, not learning itself—I just hate when the pressure gets louder than
guidance.
