Schedule Summaries

1. Schedule-A: Site of the Project

 Alignment & Location: Starts at Yamuna Expressway (Km 24+ 800)


and connects to Ganga Expressway (Km 44 +300) area near Bchaula.

 Right of Way (ROW):

o Km 0+ 000 to 20+ 450: 80 m ROW (under YEIDA area, no service


roads).

o Km 20+ 450 to 24+ 467 : 120 m ROW.

 ROW Handover Schedule: * 90 % of total length handed over


before the Appointed Date.

o Remaining 10 % handed over within 90 days of the Appointed


Date.

 Clearances: Environmental Clearance is granted by SEIAA; Forest


Clearance is currently under review by MoEF.

2. Schedule-B: Development of the Project Expressway

 Design Speed: Minimum 120 km/h.

 Carriageway Specifications:

o Formation Width: 47.5 m overall with a 15 m depressed


median.

o Paved Width: 15.0 m per side (11.25 m 3-lane + 3.0 m paved


shoulder + 0.75 m edge strip).
o Earthen Shoulder: 2.0 m on either side.

 Service Roads: A 3.75 m wide service road on the Right-Hand Side


(RHS) between Km 21+800 and Km 24+ 467 .

 Pavement & Design Life:

o Flexible Pavement: Minimum CBR 8 % , minimum 100 MSA ,


designed for 20 years.

o Rigid Pavement: At Toll Plazas, designed for 30 years.

 Major Key Structures:

o Interchanges/Flyovers: 1 Cloverleaf Junction at Km 0+ 000


(Yamuna Expressway interchange) and flyovers for YEIDA
sector roads at Km 10+375 , Km 18+550 , and Km 19+650 .

o Underpasses: 5 Small Vehicular Underpasses (SVUPs) and 1


Vehicular Underpass (VUP).

o Rail Crossings (ROBs): 3 ROBs at Km 11+355 , Km 20+350 ,


and Km 21+730.

o Underground Pass: Rapid Rail proposed crossing at Km


2+800 .

o Bridges & Culverts: 2 Major Bridges (Canal & Natural


Drain) , 7 Minor Bridges , and 43 Culverts.

3. Schedule-C: Project Facilities

 Toll Plaza: Located at Km 22+950 with 16 initial lanes (expandable


to 20 lanes) equipped with Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) and
Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) systems.

 Safety & Traffic Management:

o Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) with 1 Central


Control Room.

o Vehicle Speed Detection (15 locations) and ANPR/VIDS


Cameras at 5 interchanges.

o 4 rows of Thrie-Beam crash barriers on the main carriageway.

 Environmental Provisions:

o Eco-fencing using dense indigenous plant species (Prosopis


juliflora, Carissa carandas) along the crash barrier to prevent
human/animal entry.
o Rainwater harvesting/recharge wells at every 500 m.

4. Schedule-D: Specifications & Standards

 Primary Codes: Conforms to IRC:SP:99-2023 (Manual of


Specifications and Standards for Expressways) and MoRTH
guidelines.

 Key Deviations/Specific Standards:

o Structure Width: All structures (bridges/flyovers/ROBs) must


be built to 8-lane standards initially, with temporary
concrete crash barriers covering the unused lanes until future
expansion.

o Ride Quality: Maximum permissible road roughness is


1800 mm/km.

o Design Life: Structures are designed for a service life of 100


years.

5. Schedule-E: Maintenance Requirements

 Outlines strict response timelines for defects during the


operation/maintenance phase:

o Potholes: Rectification within 24 hours.

o Debris / Fallen Animals: Clearance within 6 hours.

o Major Lighting / ATMS Failure: Repair within 24 hours.

o Road Cracks & Edge Repair: Rectification within 15 days.

o Pre- and Post-Monsoon Inspections: Mandatory pre-


monsoon checks before June 1st and post-monsoon checks by
September 30th every year.
