Ans Babita has ₹ 1000
When se returned home she has =₹ 99.40
She spend on shopping = ₹1000 - 99.40 = ₹ 900.60

(b) There are 400 students in a school. 2/5th of the students are girls. How many girls
are there in the school ?
Ans No of students in school = 400
No of girls = 2/5=400 = 160
