a) Social media analytics techniques:
Social media analytics uses various techniques to extract meaningful insights from massive
volumes of social data. Sentiment analysis is one of the most commonly used techniques, where
natural language processing methods determine whether user opinions are positive, negative, or
neutral. Text mining is used to discover patterns, trends, and frequently discussed topics from
posts, comments, and reviews. Social network analysis examines relationships and interactions
among users to identify influencers and communication structures within communities. Topic
modeling techniques automatically group related discussions and identify emerging trends.
Predictive analytics uses historical data and machine learning algorithms to forecast future
customer behavior and campaign performance. Image and video analytics are increasingly used
to analyze multimedia content shared on social media platforms. Together, these techniques
enable organizations to understand customer opinions, market trends, and competitor activities
more effectively.
b) Social media analytics engagement metrics:
Engagement metrics are measurements used to evaluate how audiences interact with social
media content and campaigns. Common engagement metrics include likes, comments, shares,
retweets, reactions, and mentions, which indicate audience interest and participation levels.
Reach measures the number of unique users who view content, while impressions represent the
total number of times content is displayed. Click-through rate measures the percentage of users
who click on links, advertisements, or call-to-action buttons. Conversion rate indicates the
proportion of users who complete desired actions such as purchases or registrations after
interacting with content. Follower growth rate measures how quickly an account gains new
followers over time. Video engagement metrics such as watch time, average view duration, and
completion rate provide additional insights into audience attention and content effectiveness.

TOPIC : FASTRACK
The rapid growth of e-commerce platforms has led to the generation of vast amounts of
product-related data, including information about product categories, prices, specifications, and
availability. Analyzing such data can provide valuable insights into consumer markets, pricing
strategies, and product trends, helping businesses make informed decisions and improve their
competitiveness. However, the large volume and unstructured nature of online product
information make it difficult to extract meaningful patterns without proper data processing and
analysis techniques.
This project focuses on collecting and analyzing product data from the Fastrack website, a
popular brand known for its watches, smart wearables, bags, and accessories. The collected data
will be organized into a structured dataset containing relevant attributes such as product name,
category, price, ratings, discounts, and availability status. Since raw web data may contain

inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing values, data cleaning and preprocessing techniques will
be applied to improve data quality and ensure reliable analysis.
After preprocessing, the dataset will be analyzed to identify important patterns and trends within
the Fastrack product catalog. The study will examine category-wise product distribution, price
variations across different product categories, discount patterns, and the availability of products
in various segments. Statistical summaries and graphical visualizations such as bar charts, pie
charts, and histograms will be used to present the findings effectively. The results will provide a
comprehensive understanding of the Fastrack product portfolio and demonstrate how
e-commerce data analytics can support data-driven decision-making and market analysis.
