Master Placement Curriculum

10-Month Intensive Blueprint for CSE, AIML, ECE, EE, ME, & CE

Targeting a 95% Placement Boost

Executive Summary

This comprehensive 10-month curriculum is engineered to bridge the gap between academic
knowledge and industry expectations across multiple engineering disciplines. To achieve a 95%
placement rate, this program rigorously integrates quantitative aptitude, soft skills, and highly
specialized branch-specific technical training.

The program operates on a progressive tier system: starting with universal foundations,
branching into deep technical specializations, applying skills through capstone projects, and
concluding with intensive, company-specific interview preparation.

Phase 1: The Foundation (Months 1 - 2)

The first two months are common for all branches. The focus is on clearing the preliminary
rounds of any campus drive (Aptitude) and building foundational logic.

1. Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning (80 Hours)

• Quantitative: Number systems, LCM & HCF, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Simple &
Compound Interest, Time & Work, Time Speed & Distance, Probability, Permutations &
Combinations.

• Logical Reasoning: Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Seating

Arrangements, Syllogisms, Data Interpretation (Charts & Graphs).

2. Verbal Ability & Soft Skills Foundations (40 Hours)

• Grammar basics, Vocabulary building, Reading Comprehension techniques.

• Introduction to professional behavior, listening skills, and basic articulation.

3. Universal Hard Skills: Programming Logic (60 Hours)
• Introduction to computational thinking and algorithms.

• Language of Choice: Python or C. (Python recommended for its approachable syntax).

• Variables, Data Types, Control Structures (If/Else, Loops), Functions.

• Basic Data Structures: Arrays, Strings, and basic sorting/searching algorithms.

Phase 2: Branch-Specific Deep Dive (Months 3 - 5)

Students are divided into tracks based on their disciplines to acquire industry-relevant technical
competencies.

Branch Core Technical Focus Tools & Technologies

CSE Advanced DSA (Trees, Graphs, DP), Java / C++, MySQL, HTML/CSS/
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), JavaScript, React (Basics), [Link].
Relational Database Management Systems
(RDBMS), Operating Systems, Web
Development (Frontend & Backend).

CSE - AIML Core Python libraries, Data Preprocessing, Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn,
Supervised & Unsupervised Machine TensorFlow / PyTorch, Jupyter
Learning, Neural Networks basics, Natural Notebooks.
Language Processing (NLP) intro.

ECE Embedded C, Microprocessor & Keil, MATLAB, Xilinx, Verilog / VHDL,

Microcontrollers (8051, ARM Cortex), VLSI Arduino / Raspberry Pi.
Design Flow, Digital Electronics, IoT
Architectures.

EE Circuit Theory review, Power System MATLAB/Simulink, AutoCAD Electrical,

Analysis, Control Systems, Programmable ETAP, PLC Simulation Software.
Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA, Electric
Vehicle (EV) components.

ME Advanced 3D Modeling, Finite Element AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS.

Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid
Dynamics (CFD) basics, Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

CE Structural Analysis and Design, Computer- AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Revit
Aided Drafting (2D & 3D), Estimation, Architecture, MS Project.
Branch Core Technical Focus Tools & Technologies

Costing, and Construction Project

Management.

Phase 3: Projects & Corporate Readiness (Months 6 - 7)

Employers prioritize candidates who have practical experience. This phase transforms theory into
tangible proof of skill.

1. Capstone Project Development (120 Hours)

• CSE/AIML: Full-stack web applications, Predictive ML models deployed via APIs.

• ECE/EE: Hardware-software co-design (e.g., Smart Home IoT setup, EV battery management
simulation).

• ME/CE: Complete design and analysis reports (e.g., chassis design in SolidWorks, structural
load analysis of a commercial building).

• Version Control: All students must use Git and maintain a GitHub repository for their projects.

2. Corporate Soft Skills (60 Hours)

• Business Communication: Professional email writing, presentation skills, meeting etiquette.

• Group Discussions (GD): Strategies for initiation, structuring arguments, and concluding.
Weekly GD mock sessions.

• Interpersonal Skills: Conflict resolution, teamwork, and adaptability simulated through group
activities.

Phase 4: The Placement Polish (Months 8 - 9)

Focus shifts heavily to optimizing candidates for the exact mechanics of the recruitment process.

1. Resume & Brand Building

• Creating ATS-friendly resumes tailored to specific roles (e.g., Data Analyst vs. Software
Engineer).

• LinkedIn profile optimization and networking strategies for off-campus opportunities.

2. Interview Preparation
• HR Interviews: Mastering behavioral questions ("Tell me about yourself", STAR method for
situational questions, handling weaknesses).

• Technical Interviews:
◦ IT Profiles: Intensive competitive coding on platforms like LeetCode/HackerRank, System
Design basics.

◦ Core Profiles: Rapid revision of fundamental engineering principles and core subject mock
interviews.

Phase 5: The Final Sprint (Month 10)

The final month aligns students with specific company placement drives happening on or off-
campus.

• Company-Specific Training: Analyzing previous years' placement papers and patterns for
mass recruiters (TCS NQT, Infosys, Wipro) and core giants (L&T, Tata Motors, Texas
Instruments).

• Daily Mock Tests: Timed, full-length aptitude and technical tests simulating the exact
environment of placement exams.

• 1-on-1 Mentorship: Personalized feedback sessions to fix last-minute weaknesses. Stress

management and confidence-building workshops.

Mandatory Metrics for the 95% Boost

To guarantee exceptional placement results, the following policies must be strictly enforced:

1. Assessment Thresholds:

Students must score above 70% in weekly Phase 1 & 2 tests. Those who fall below
mandate an extra 4 hours of weekend remedial classes.

2. Attendance:

A strict 85% attendance requirement in training sessions to be eligible for premium

placement drives.

3. Project Completion:

No student proceeds to Phase 4 without a verified, functional capstone project.
