Energy Department - TGTRANSCO - Strikes – Prohibition of strike in all the services


under the Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and Three Distribution
Companies (i.e TGNPDCL, TGSPDCL & TGRPDCL) for a further period of six (6) months
with effect from 25.08.2026 to 24.02.2027 – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:

In the circumstances reported by the Chairman & Managing Director,


Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and after careful consideration of the
matter, Government is satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in
public interest in any services in Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited and
Three Distribution Companies (i.e TGNPDCL, TGSPDCL & TGRPDCL) in Telangana State
for a further period of six (6) months w.e.f. 25.08.2026 to 24.02.2027.

2. The following Notification shall be published in the next issue of the Telangana
Extraordinary Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) & (3) of section 3 of the
Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government of
Telangana hereby prohibits strikes in all the services under the Transmission Corporation
of Telangana Limited and Three Distribution Companies (i.e TGNPDCL, TGSPDCL &
TGRPDCL) for a further period of six (6) months with effect from 25.08.2026 to
24.02.2027.

3. The C&MD, TGTRANSCO, Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the
matter accordingly.
