Job interview adalah percakapan antara seseorang yang melamar pekerjaan (job
applicant/candidate) dengan pihak perusahaan (interviewer) untuk mengetahui kemampuan,
pengalaman, kepribadian, dan kesesuaian pelamar dengan pekerjaan yang tersedia.
Dalam bahasa Indonesia:
Job interview = wawancara kerja.
