1. Good morning, ma'am. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I come from
Dehradun, a peaceful and education-oriented city in Uttarakhand, and I belong to a close-
knit nuclear family. Growing up, I was always encouraged to be curious and independent
in the way I approached academics and everyday problems.
Coming to my academic background, I completed my schooling from Delhi Public School,
Dehradun, in 2026. During my school years, Mathematics was one of the subjects I particularly
enjoyed because I liked working through problems logically rather than simply memorising
answers. My first exposure to basic programming during school made me curious about how
instructions can be converted into solutions, and that gradually influenced my decision to pursue
Computer Science.
At present, I am a first-year [Link] Computer Science and Engineering student. Since I am still
at the beginning of my engineering journey, my current priority is to build strong foundations
rather than rush into advanced technologies. I am presently learning C programming, basic
Python, computational thinking and the fundamentals of how computer systems work. I have
also started solving small programming problems because I want to become comfortable with
approaching a problem systematically.
Outside academics, I enjoy playing badminton and following technology-related content.
Badminton gives me a useful break from screens and has also taught me the importance of
consistency because improvement is usually gradual rather than immediate.
Looking ahead, over the next few semesters I want to strengthen my programming fundamentals,
understand data structures and algorithms, participate in technical clubs and eventually work on
projects where I can apply classroom concepts to practical problems. I have not yet decided on a
narrow specialization, and at this stage I would rather explore different areas of Computer
Science before making that decision.
So, I would describe myself as a student at the beginning of the journey, but someone who is
curious, willing to learn and interested in building a strong foundation before moving towards
specialization.
2. Good morning, sir. Thank you for the opportunity. I come from Lucknow, a culturally
rich and academically vibrant city, and I belong to a supportive nuclear family. One thing
my family has consistently encouraged is learning beyond examinations, and I think that
has played an important role in the way I approach technology today.
I completed my schooling from City Montessori School, Lucknow, in 2026. My interest in
Computer Science actually started during school when I was introduced to Python. Initially,
programming was simply another subject, but I became interested when I realised that the same
concepts we were learning in class could be used to automate small repetitive tasks. I began
experimenting with basic programs such as calculators, quiz applications and simple data-
handling exercises.
At present, I am pursuing the first year of [Link] in Computer Science and Engineering. My
focus right now is on strengthening C programming, Python and logical problem-solving. Since I
already had some exposure to coding before university, I am consciously trying not to mistake
familiarity with proficiency. University has made me realise that Computer Science is
considerably broader than simply knowing a programming language.
I have started exploring Git and GitHub as well because I want to develop good development
habits early rather than discovering version control only when I begin larger projects.
Apart from academics, I enjoy chess. What attracts me to chess is the need to think several
possibilities ahead while still being prepared to change the plan when the situation changes.
In the future, I want to explore software development, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity
before deciding which area suits my abilities and interests best. By the end of my second year, I
would like to have built at least two meaningful projects rather than several projects that I cannot
explain properly.
My immediate objective, therefore, is not to collect technologies for my résumé but to become
fundamentally strong enough to understand why the programs I write actually work.
3. Good morning, ma'am. I come from Haldwani, a growing city in Uttarakhand, and I
belong to a joint family. Growing up in a larger family environment has given me
considerable exposure to different personalities and viewpoints, and I think it has naturally
made me more comfortable adjusting and communicating with people.
I completed my schooling from St. Theresa Senior Secondary School, Haldwani, in 2026. Unlike
many Computer Science students, I did not have significant programming exposure during
school. My academic interests were primarily Mathematics and Physics. What attracted me
towards Computer Science was the problem-solving aspect of the field and the enormous range
of industries in which computing is now involved.
At present, I am pursuing [Link] in Computer Science and Engineering and am in my first year.
Since programming is relatively new to me, I have been concentrating on understanding the
fundamentals of C rather than comparing myself with classmates who have been coding for
several years. One thing I have discovered about myself during the transition to university is that
I enjoy the process of debugging. Although errors can initially be frustrating, finding why
something failed gives me a strong sense of progress.
I have not undertaken an internship or major technical project yet, and I believe that is
appropriate for my current stage. Instead, I am working on smaller programming exercises and
gradually developing confidence with problem-solving.
Outside academics, I enjoy photography, particularly landscapes and street photography. It has
made me more observant because a good photograph often depends on noticing details that other
people might simply pass by.
Going forward, I want to become comfortable with programming fundamentals, study data
structures seriously and participate in collaborative projects. My longer-term objective is to
discover an area of Computer Science where my logical abilities and interest in practical
problem-solving can come together.
4. Good morning, sir. Thank you for this opportunity. I come from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh,
a city known for its energetic business and educational environment, and I belong to a
nuclear family. My family has always encouraged me to balance academics with practical
learning rather than viewing marks as the only measure of progress.
I completed my schooling from Dewan Public School, Meerut, in 2025. During school,
Mathematics and Computer Science were the subjects that interested me most, and that
combination naturally led me towards engineering and Computer Science.
At present, I am in the second year of [Link] Computer Science and Engineering. Over the last
three semesters, my learning has moved from basic programming towards understanding how
different technologies can work together to create a usable application.
One project that helped me understand this was a Student Event Registration Portal that I
developed with two classmates. The problem we wanted to address was the scattered process of
collecting registrations through forms and spreadsheets. I primarily worked on the frontend
interface and the connection between user inputs and the database. We used HTML, CSS,
JavaScript and MySQL. The project was relatively simple, but it taught me something important:
writing individual pieces of code is different from integrating them into a complete working
system.
Technically, I am currently most comfortable with C++, basic JavaScript and SQL. I have also
started studying data structures because I want my problem-solving ability to develop alongside
my development skills.
Outside academics, I participate in university technical events and enjoy playing football.
Football has taught me that individual ability becomes useful only when it fits into the larger
team's objective.
Looking forward, I want to strengthen DSA, move deeper into full-stack development and secure
an internship where I can experience professional software development practices. Eventually, I
would like to work in software engineering, particularly in roles where I can build applications
that solve practical user problems.
5. Good morning, ma'am. I come from Jaipur, Rajasthan, a city I associate with heritage,
entrepreneurship and a very active educational culture. I belong to a close-knit nuclear
family where education and independence have both been strongly encouraged.
I completed my schooling from St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, in 2025. During
school, I enjoyed Mathematics and logical reasoning, but my serious exposure to programming
began only after entering university.
I am currently in the second year of [Link] Computer Science and Engineering. During my first
year, I developed a foundation in C and Python, while this year my interest has increasingly
shifted towards Java and object-oriented programming. What particularly interests me about
OOP is the idea of organising a larger problem into manageable entities and responsibilities.
Recently, I worked with three classmates on a Library Management System. The objective was
to digitise basic operations such as maintaining book records, checking availability and recording
issue and return transactions. My primary responsibility was designing the classes for books and
users and working on database interactions. Through this project, I learned that understanding
syntax is only the beginning. Designing the structure of a program before coding can save
considerable rework later.
My current technical strengths are Java, object-oriented programming, basic SQL and
fundamental data structures. I am careful about calling these strengths rather than expertise
because I still have a considerable amount to learn.
Outside academics, I enjoy debating and have participated in school and university-level
speaking activities. Debate has helped me become comfortable presenting a viewpoint while also
listening carefully enough to respond to another person's argument.
Over the next two years, I want to become stronger in Java backend development, DSA and
databases, work on larger collaborative projects and secure an internship in software
development. My long-term goal is to become an engineer who understands both the code and
the problem that the code is supposed to solve.
6. Good morning, sir.I come from Chandigarh, a well-planned and education-focused city,
and I belong to a nuclear family. I completed my schooling from Bhavan Vidyalaya,
Chandigarh, in 2025.
My interest in cybersecurity began during school, although at that point it was mostly curiosity
about passwords, networks and how online systems protect information. After entering
Computer Science, that curiosity became more structured as I began understanding
programming, computer networks and operating systems.
I am currently pursuing my second year of [Link] CSE. My academic foundation includes C,
Python and introductory data structures, while independently I have started exploring Linux,
networking fundamentals and basic cybersecurity concepts.
One small project I worked on was a Python-based password-strength analyser. Instead of simply
checking password length, I experimented with criteria such as character diversity and
commonly used password patterns. My contribution involved writing the validation logic and
testing different input conditions. It was not an industry-level security application, but it gave me
an opportunity to connect programming with an area I genuinely want to understand further.
I am also learning to use Linux more comfortably because I recognise that cybersecurity requires
much stronger understanding of systems and networks than simply knowing security
terminology.
Outside technology, I enjoy long-distance running. Running has taught me patience because
progress is often the result of consistent effort rather than one exceptional session.
In the future, I want to develop stronger foundations in networking, operating systems, Python
and cybersecurity before pursuing relevant certifications or internships. My longer-term interest
is in defensive security and security analysis, although I want to explore the domain properly
before committing to a highly specialised role.
7. Good morning, ma'am. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself. I
come from Delhi, a fast-paced and highly diverse city, and I belong to a nuclear family. I
completed my schooling from Bal Bharati Public School in 2024, where my interest in
Computer Science gradually developed through programming and problem-solving.
Currently, I am in the third year of [Link] Computer Science and Engineering, and over the last
two years my strongest technical interest has developed around web application development.
One of my significant academic projects has been a Campus Marketplace application designed to
allow university students to list, discover and exchange used academic items such as books and
calculators. I worked in a four-member team, and my main responsibility involved developing
backend APIs and integrating them with the database. We used React for the frontend, [Link]
and Express for the backend and MongoDB for data storage.
The most valuable part of the project was not simply learning the technology stack. It was
dealing with issues such as incomplete requirements, inconsistent data and integration problems
between different team members' modules. That experience made software development feel
much more realistic.
Technically, I am most comfortable with JavaScript, React, [Link], MongoDB and basic SQL.
Alongside development, I practise data structures and algorithms in Java because I want stronger
problem-solving fundamentals.
I have also participated in our university coding club, where interacting with students from
different years has exposed me to approaches I would not necessarily discover independently.
Outside technology, I enjoy cricket and occasionally create short travel videos. Video editing
gives me a creative outlet quite different from programming.
Looking forward, my immediate goal is to obtain a software development internship where I can
work with a professional codebase, code reviews and real deployment practices. In the longer
term, I want to develop into a full-stack engineer with particularly strong backend capabilities.
8. Good morning, sir. I come from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, an industrial and academically
significant city, and I belong to a close-knit family of four. I completed my schooling from
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School in 2024.
I am presently in the third year of [Link] Computer Science and Engineering. During the initial
semesters, I explored different areas of programming, but backend development gradually
became the area that interested me most because I enjoy understanding what happens behind the
interface.
The most important practical experience in my journey so far was an eight-week internship with
a software services company where I worked as a Software Development Intern. I was assigned
to a team working on an internal task-management application. My primary contribution
involved developing and testing REST API endpoints for basic task operations and assisting with
database queries.
I want to be precise about my contribution because I did not build the entire application. What
the internship gave me was exposure to an existing codebase, Git-based collaboration, debugging
other people's code and communicating progress to a senior developer. Those experiences were
considerably different from working independently on academic assignments.
My current technical strengths include Java, Spring Boot fundamentals, SQL, REST APIs and
Git. I am also strengthening data structures and algorithms because I recognise their importance
in software engineering interviews and problem-solving.
Outside academics, I have served as a volunteer during university technical events, which has
helped me become more comfortable coordinating with unfamiliar people and working within
deadlines.
In the immediate future, I want to deepen my backend development knowledge and work on
projects involving authentication, databases and deployment. My long-term goal is to become a
software engineer capable of taking ownership of a feature from understanding the requirement
through development, testing and eventual deployment.
9. Good morning, ma'am. I come from Bhopal, a city known for its lakes as well as its
growing educational environment, and I belong to a nuclear family. I completed my
schooling from Delhi Public School, Bhopal, in 2024.
Currently, I am pursuing my third year of [Link] in Computer Science and Engineering. My
initial interest was general programming, but after studying probability, statistics and Python, I
gradually became interested in machine learning and the question of how computational systems
can identify patterns from data.
One of my recent academic projects involved developing a basic student-performance prediction
model. Our objective was to explore whether variables such as attendance, assignment
performance and previous academic scores could provide useful indicators of academic risk. My
responsibility was primarily data cleaning, exploratory analysis and comparing the performance
of different basic classification approaches.
The project taught me an important lesson. Machine learning is not simply about selecting an
algorithm and reporting accuracy. The quality of data, feature selection and the way results are
interpreted can significantly influence whether a model is actually useful.
Technically, I am most comfortable with Python, Pandas, NumPy, basic Scikit-learn and SQL. I
am currently strengthening statistics and data structures because I do not want my understanding
of machine learning to depend entirely on libraries.
Outside academics, I enjoy reading non-fiction, particularly books and articles related to
psychology and technology. I find human decision-making interesting because it provides a
useful contrast to the structured logic of programming.
Looking ahead, I want to undertake a meaningful machine-learning internship or research-
oriented project where I can work with less controlled, real-world data. My longer-term objective
is to explore machine learning engineering or data science, while building sufficiently strong
software fundamentals to remain flexible in my career.
10. Good morning, Sir. I come from Patna, a historically important and rapidly developing
city, and I belong to a joint family. I completed my schooling from Notre Dame Academy,
Patna, in 2024.
I am currently in the third year of [Link] Computer Science and Engineering. During my early
semesters I explored programming and web development, but I discovered that I particularly
enjoyed working with data, especially the process of turning an unstructured dataset into
information that can support a conclusion.
One of my significant projects involved analysing an e-commerce sales dataset. The objective
was to identify sales trends, high-performing product categories and patterns in customer
purchasing behaviour. My role involved cleaning the dataset using Python and Pandas, writing
SQL queries for analysis and creating visualisations to communicate the major findings.
The most valuable learning for me was understanding that analysis is not complete when the
code runs successfully. If the result cannot be explained clearly to someone who is not technical,
much of its value is lost.
My current technical toolkit includes Python, SQL, Excel, Pandas and basic Power BI. I am
continuing to develop statistical understanding alongside these tools because I want to
understand the reasoning behind the analysis rather than depend entirely on software.
Outside academics, I have participated in presentation competitions, which have helped me
become more comfortable explaining information to an audience.
Going forward, I want to secure an internship in data analytics or business intelligence where I
can work with genuine organisational data and understand how analysis contributes to decisions.
In the longer term, I see myself working at the intersection of technology, data and business
problem-solving.
