Description of the Problem and Proposed Solution (Approximately

Many high school learners find it difficult to manage their study time because they take several subjects and
have limited time available after school. They often spend too much time studying subjects they enjoy or
already understand while giving very little attention to subjects they find challenging. This can lead to poor
time management and lower academic performance. The purpose of this project is to develop a Study
Session Planner using Delphi 2010 that helps learners organise their study time in a balanced and effective
way. The application will allow learners to enter their grade, subjects, available study time and subjects they
find difficult. The program will then generate a personalised study timetable that gives appropriate
attention to all subjects while prioritising weaker areas. The project focuses on helping learners become
more organised, improve their study habits and prepare better for tests and examinations through a simple
and user-friendly desktop application.
Scope of the Project
The Study Session Planner is designed for high school learners who need assistance with organising their
study time. The program will allow learners to create, update and view study schedules, calculate available
study time and generate balanced study plans. The project will be developed using Delphi 2010 and will
include multiple forms with clear navigation and input validation. The application will not replace teachers,
provide learning content or connect to online services.
