INTERVIEW
Applications are invited for the recruitment of one (1) contractual position of Field / Lab
Assistant purely on contractual/ temporary basis under ICARDA funded project, “Quality
Improvement in Wheat” (26-02), at the Division of Genetics, ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research
Institute, New Delhi – 110012. The interested eligible candidates are requested to send their
application in the enclosed proforma along with the self-attested scanned copies of the
original documents in single PDF file to the email address [Link]@[Link] on or before
05.30 PM on 08.06.2026. After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be called
by email for interview on 12.06.2026 in the Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural
Research Institute, New Delhi- 110012. Original documents will be verified at the time of
appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their
candidature will be summarily rejected.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Age Limit for the positions is 35 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years
relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. Minimum
age should be of 18 years as on date of interview.
2. Only the candidates shortlisted on the basis of the CV sent by them would be intimated for
the interview.
3. No objection certificate from the employer should be attached, in case he/ she has an
employment in any other projects.
4. Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification of the candidate.
5. The selected candidates shall not claim for any regular appointments at this institute as the
above positions are purely contractual, non-regular, time bound and are co-terminus with
the project.
6. The candidates will have to compulsorily fill application form (as per the format annexed).
All the self-attested scanned certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth
certificate, and a recent photograph must be enclosed.
7. Proof of experience also need to be sent along with application form by email by 08.06.2026.
The selected candidate will be required to produce all original documents and medical
certificate from IARI dispensary at the time of joining.
8. Only the candidates having essential qualifications and necessary experience would be
shortlisted for the interview.
9. The Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview
without assigning any reason thereof.
10. In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi Courts only.
11. Selected candidates will be informed via email for joining the duty. No communication in this
regard will be entertained.
