The school boundary is in the shape of a pentagon shown below. Calculate the area of the
school compound.

 • Pentagon vertices: A, B, C, D, E
 • Given dimensions and angles:

- Side AE = 130 m

- Side AB = 12.6 m

- Side CD = 130 m

- Diagonal AC = 130 m

- Diagonal EC = 210 m

- Angles at vertex A: 72° and 18°

- Angle at vertex C: 34°

Problem 2
Calculate the area of the land below. BD = 5 cm

 • Quadrilateral vertices: A, B, C, D
 • Given side lengths:

- CD = 13 m

- DA = 3 m

- AB = 4 m

- BC = 6 m
