Course Objective:
The course aims to provide the students
● To understand Object Oriented Programming concepts and basic characteristics of Java
● To know the principles of creating basic Java classes and methods
● To know the principles of inheritance and interfaces and polymorphism
● To define exceptions and use I/O streams
● To develop a java application with collections
● To develop Java application with database connectivity

Course Outcome:

At the end of the course students should be able to


CO1: Understand the difference between Procedural and Object Oriented programming.
CO2: Develop Java programs using OOP principles
CO3: Develop Java programs with the concepts inheritance and interfaces
CO4: Build Java applications using I/O streams and Handle exceptions
CO5: Develop Java applications using collections
