Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is a premier S&T organization under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)
engaged in promoting IT/ITES Industry, innovation, R&D, start-ups, product/IP creation in the field of emerging technologies like IoT,
Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision, Robotics, Robotics Process Automation (RPA),
Augmented & Virtual Reality, Animation & Visual effect, Data Science & Analytics for various domains like Gaming, FinTech, Agritech,
MedTech, Autonomous Connected Electric & Shared(ACES) Mobility, ESDM, Cyber Security, Industry 4.0, Drone, Efficiency Augmentation,
etc. STPI is providing Statutory Services to the exporters under STP/EHTP scheme and extending infrastructural facilities including High
Speed Internet and IPLC links. STPI at present has 73 centers at different locations in the country.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the below Group ‘A’ non-S&T vacancies given below. The vacancies are
proposed to be filled up by Direct Recruitment basis. Appointments made on Direct Recruitment basis shall be on probation for a period of two
years from the date of joining the post.

completed filled online application shall be considered for further process of recruitment.
Persons working in Central/ State Government/PSUs/Autonomous organizations may submit a copy of NOC issued from their organization
at the time of applying online.
Application Fee: An application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) per application shall be payable by the candidate(s). The mode
and process of payment shall be specified in the online application portal. No fee is required to be paid by female candidates and candidates
belonging to SC/ST/PH category. Application Fee once received by STPI will not be returned under any circumstances.
Selection process: Selection for the above post shall be based on written examination. Only the completed online applications by the last date
of receipt of online application shall be considered for screening and only screened-in candidates shall be called for Written examination.
Experience shall be considered only on post qualification basis. For pattern of examination please refer Annexure – ‘I’. Candidate qualified in
the written examination shall be offered appointment according to merit.

 General Terms & Conditions:
1. Candidates working in Central/ State Government/PSUs/Autonomous organizations may submit a copy of NOC issued from their
organization at the time of applying online.
2. Immediate Absorption rule shall be applicable as per Govt. extant rules.
3. Appointment made on Direct Recruitment basis shall be on probation period of two years which is likely to be regularized/ extended/ terminated
depending upon the performance of the candidate during probation period.
4. Age shall be reckoned as on last date of receipt of online application (i.e., 07.09.2026). The upper age limit in respect of candidates working in
Govt./STPI on regular basis or candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and persons with
disabilities shall be relaxable as per prevailing instructions.
5. Date of Birth filled by the candidate in the online Application Form and the same recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination
Certificate will be accepted by the STPI for determining the age and no subsequent changes will be accepted or granted.
6. The eligibility of the candidates in terms of educational qualifications, experience, age etc. will be determined on the basis of information
furnished by the candidate on the closing date for receipt of applications. No adding information shall be entertained after the closing date of
receipt of applications. Incomplete/unsigned applications will not be entertained and the application form without the copies of requisite
certificates will be rejected.
7. Number of posts may vary. STPI reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts, if it so decides.
8. In case any candidate found ineligible on any ground even after his appointment, his service will be terminated immediately without assigning
any reason thereof. Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any false/misleading information/document or submit any document
which is defective or fabricated or otherwise commit any act of misconduct in submitting the application form or during the course of
recruitment. In case any such case is detected by STPI at any stage, during or after recruitment OR in case any candidate found ineligible on any
ground, appropriate action shall be taken against the candidate. Any litigation will be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
9. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection/test/interview/appointment. Canvassing
in any form or bringing other influence shall make the candidature liable for rejection.
10. Candidates seeking reservation against the reserved category posts shall upload their caste/category certificate in the prescribed FORMAT
applicable for the Central Govt. Organization.
11. Candidates who wish to be considered against reserved vacancies or seek age-relaxation must submit requisite certificate from the competent
authority, in the prescribed format when such certificates are sought by STPI at the time of online registration, document verification or at any
stage. Otherwise, their claim for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM will not be entertained and their candidature will be cancelled. The formats of
the certificates are annexed with the Notice of this Examination. Certificates in any other format are liable to be rejected.
12. Candidates are cautioned that they must ensure that they belong to the category as filled up in the application form and are able to prove the
same by furnishing the requisite certificate issued by the competent authority when such certificates are sought by by STPI at the time of online
registration, document verification or at any stage, failing which the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled. If the candidature of a
candidate is cancelled by STPI for non-furnishing of the requisite certificate in support of the category filled up in the application form, the
candidate would be solely responsible for the same and STPI will not have any responsibility. Any grievance received in this regard in any form
like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by STPI and will be summarily rejected.
13. A person seeking appointment on the basis of reservation to OBC must ensure that he does not fall in creamy layer on the crucial date i.e., the
closing date of application. The applicants of OBC category, who are not covered under creamy layer in terms of Standing Instructions of
Government of India as amended from time-to-time, seeking Age-relaxation, Reservation etc. shall invariably submit the requisite certificate as
per the format (Annexure-II). Such candidates may also note that their candidature will remain provisional till the veracity of the concerned
document is verified by the Appointing Authority.
14. Candidates may also note that their candidature will remain provisional until the veracity of the certificates/documents relating to the
Educational Qualifications, Caste/Category, etc. is verified and found satisfactory by the Appointing Authority. Candidates are cautioned that
they will be debarred from the examinations conducted by STPI in case they fraudulently claim the status of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM.
15. Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience requirements does not entitle candidates to be called for written test.
16. Selected candidate shall be liable to be posted at any centre of STPI.

1.1 Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple choice questions only. Based on the marks scored in the Paper-
I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper).
1.2 There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Candidates are, therefore,
advised to keep this in mind while answering the Question.

2. Indicative Syllabus:

2.1 Paper-I (Objective Type): The questions will be designed to test the candidates‟ understanding of the
languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly,
precisely and effectively. The questions will be of degree level.

2.2 Paper-II (Translation and Essay): This paper will contain two passages for translation - one passage for
translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi
and English, to test the candidates‟ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two
languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational
qualifications prescribed.

3. Mode of Selection:

3.1 Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I are as follows:

(i) UR: 50%

(ii) OBC: 45%
(iii) SC: 40%

3.2 Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-
II (Descriptive Paper).

3.3 Based on the performance in Paper-I & Paper-II, candidates will be considered for final selection. For final
merit, the weightage will be 50% of the scores in Paper-I and 100% of marks in Paper-II. There may be separate
category wise cut-off in Paper-I & Paper-II.

4. Resolution of Tie Cases: In cases where more than one candidate secures the equal aggregate marks, tie
will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another until the tie is resolved:

i. Marks in Paper-II.
ii. Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
iii. Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
