STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“If you can dream it, you can do it” – Walt Disney
This quote has always been inspiring in my life. I believe learning is not confined to childhood or
the classroom but takes places throughout life and in a range of situations. Education enhances
social inclusion, passion, and most importantly personal development. I began my relationship
with computers and technology from my school days. I was always fascinated with technology
and learning new things about technology has always been my area of interest. The passion
boosted when I enrolled for a 4-years full time degree course in Computer Engineering at
Himalaya College of Engineering, Lalitpur, Nepal, affiliated to Tribhuvan University. At the end
of my course, I secured 64.06% with the second division. The course provided me with a
stimulating academic background and motivation to pursue a Master's degree.
Since my school days, I have been interested in Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science.
I pursued my higher secondary education from Bridgewater International College with 73.9%
and my secondary education form Mount Everest Higher Secondary School with 81.0%.
It was the turning point of my life when I received an opportunity to work as a volunteer for an ICT
Seeding Campaign in an organization named Siris Youth Foundation, Lalitpur, Nepal. I was
encouraged to believe that academics and extracurricular go hand in hand to form a wholesome
personality. This program helped me develop a feeling of social service and made me realize the
level of satisfaction one can get by bringing a smile to someone's face. While being involved in
the program, I was responsible for providing basic concepts of how technologies are used in our
day-to-day life to the students of the rural areas and also providing basic level training on using
the computer for various tasks. Encouraging the kids to use the internet to do research in order
to boost their academics as well as career was one of the major focuses of the program.
To get real time work environment knowledge, I worked in two different companies: ABGS Group
Pvt. Ltd. and YAJ Tech Pvt. Ltd. In ABGS Group Pvt. Ltd., I worked from June 2019 to March
2021, where I started my work as an Audio Transcriber and later on promoted up to the position
of Audio Transcription Reviewer. But I decided to change my job as I wasn’t using any of my
knowledge from my bachelor’s education. So, I decided to join the new company named YAJ
Tech Pvt. Ltd. (April 2021 to August 2021), where I was involved in the position of Quality
Assurance Intern. While working as a QA, I was able to imply my theoretical concepts to real time
problems. I was responsible for ensuring that the product of the company meets the established
standards. My duties include maintaining the strong quality of products made by the company,
assuring that it is reliable, can perform well, and it meets the customer's expectations.
