1 What is DataFlow, and Why Does It Exist?
DataFlow Group is DHA's contracted third-party verification partner (a relationship going back to 2007).
Instead of trusting your submitted documents at face value, DataFlow contacts your issuing university,
your professional council, and your past employers directly — confirming your degree, license, and
experience letters are genuine before DHA ever considers your file.

Think of DataFlow as a background-check agency for your paperwork. It's not judging your clinical skill
— it's simply confirming that the university that says it awarded your degree actually did, and the
hospital that says it employed you actually did.
2 The Application Steps
• 1. Register at the DataFlow applicant portal: [Link] — enter your name exactly as it
appears on your passport.
• 2. Upload your documents: Degree, transcripts, experience letters, GSC — clear scans (Module
3).
• 3. Pay the verification fee: Commonly reported around AED 1,000–1,235 for the standard
package, plus roughly AED 310 per additional document — confirm the current figure on the live
portal, as fee schedules change.

optimistic 15-day figure. If your issuing university or a past employer is slow to respond to DataFlow's
verification request, your timeline can stretch further — this is largely out of your control once
submitted, so build in buffer.
4 Tracking Your Application
Check your status anytime at [Link] using your case reference number and passport
number. Status updates are typically limited (e.g., in progress, completed) rather than a detailed
play-by-play — don't expect granular updates on which specific institution has or hasn't responded yet.
5 When Things Go Wrong: Negative Reports & Appeals
DataFlow's report can come back with one of two negative outcomes:
• Discrepancy: The issuing institution states the document wasn't issued by them, or shows signs
of tampering, or the institution itself isn't accredited.
• Unable to Verify (UTV): The issuing authority is non-cooperative or unreachable — through no
fault of your own.

You get one free appeal within 180 calendar days of the report, filed at [Link] under "File
an Appeal." If the UTV outcome was caused by your own missing/incomplete documents rather than an
unresponsive institution, the free appeal doesn't apply — you'll need to submit additional documents,
typically with a fee.
⚠ COMMON MISTAKE
Assuming a negative report is final and giving up, or re-submitting the exact same documents without
changing anything. Read the specific reason for the discrepancy/UTV carefully before appealing — a
successful appeal usually means addressing the exact gap DataFlow identified (e.g., providing a
document that lets them reach the right department at your university), not repeating the same
submission.
6 Common Causes of Delay for Indian Candidates
• Slow-responding university registrars or state councils — largely outside your control, but worth a
polite follow-up call/email to your alma mater once you've submitted.
• Expired Good Standing Certificate by the time DataFlow reaches that step (Module 3's
sequencing advice exists precisely to prevent this).
• Name/detail mismatches between your passport and your academic records (Module 3).
• Missing internship-period transcripts submitted as "final year only" instead of the complete
record.
