Setting up Oracle RAC on Exadata?

The Oracle Exadata Deployment Assistant simplifies the process by generating the
necessary configuration files for a seamless deployment. From storage layout to
network settings, this tool ensures an optimized RAC setup on Exadata.

Start the Exadata configuration tool.

This command will launch a browser where you can enter the necessary data to
proceed with the configuration.

Use the details provided in the table to configure an Exadata Full Rack Database
Machine. For any unspecified fields, keep the default values. Review the options and
additional details on each page, and once you're satisfied, click Apply to move forward
unless instructed otherwise.
After completing each step, make sure to click Apply to save your changes and proceed
to the next stage.

Select available machine

Follow the same process for Cluster02, ensuring that after each step, you click Apply to
save the changes and move forward.
Review the configuration carefully and enter all the necessary information. Ensure
accuracy before proceeding, and click Apply after each step to save the changes.
You can skip this step if it is not required, otherwise, ensure all necessary information is
entered before proceeding.
Click Apply and Download to save the configuration, then proceed to download the
necessary files.

you'll get hands-on experience with OEDACLI (OEDA command-line interface), a tool
for managing Exadata configurations. OEDACLI functions as a logical XML editor,
allowing you to update existing Exadata configuration files before deployment. It can
also serve as a deployment tool after the initial setup.

ou'll use the OEDACLI ADD DATABASEHOME command to add an Oracle database
home to an existing cluster. The tool operates in two modes: Edit and Deploy. First,
you'll work in Edit mode to modify configurations, then test Deploy mode at the end of
the article.
Your cluster is now fully configured and ready for deployment and installation. Proceed
with the installation process to complete the setup.

This keeps it short, engaging, and easy to digest for LinkedIn. Let me know if you want
