INTRODUCTION
In both basic and higher education, technology is present,
yet integration and use have generally been slow to
change. Perhaps, you know of some teachers who frown at
the use of e-learning, web-based education, and learning
management systems.

It is a software application designed to help in
the administration of courses for both students
and instructors. Such systems have been
designed for use in learning and teaching
activities

include budgetary, logistical, and practical issues,
with student populations as the biggest challenge.
Interaction and collaboration are essential to
building a learning community, but social media
growth complicates engagement.
Skepticism toward technology exists, including
concerns about:
- IT skills of faculty and students
- Appropriate pedagogy for digital learning

Lack of functional analysis to determine if tools (e.g.,
LMS) truly benefit users.
Familiarity with technology is crucial, including:
-Understanding course goals and objectives
-Navigating discussion forums and course platforms
Student placement challenges:

FEATURES OF LMS

learning content.

learning, students can
communicate through discussion
boards and email. When the LMS
has an easy environment that has
features for interactivity, students
can communicate frequently.

a repository of records and
could possibly police the
progress of students.
4. Security and privacy- One
pro-student feature of LMS is
its ability to secure students'
files, records, and privacy.
5. Flexible testing and
assessment- The LMS should
provide a feature for formative
assessments and is flexible
enough to accommodate
traditional, nontraditional, and
alternative assessment
strategies.

Most learning management systems allow
access from numerous devices, including
mobile devices, stand-alone personal
computers, or other network-capable
technologies
A key factor in this process is the use of
the technology acceptance model.
In the Philippines, a team of researchers at
Silliman University (Marcial, Onte, Forster,
Te, & Curativo, 2017) devised LMS in the
sticks. It can work as an online-functional
LMS, even with the absence of the
Internet.
