Students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform neatly and correctly on the respective days
Student Grooming Rules
General Appearance
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
Follow good personal hygiene every day.
Wear the prescribed college uniform properly on all working days.
Display the College ID card visibly while on campus.
Ensure uniforms are clean, well-ironed, and in good condition.
Hair
Keep hair clean, neatly combed, and well maintained.
Boys must maintain short and neatly trimmed hair.
Extreme hairstyles, spikes, coloured hair, and shaved designs are not permitted.
Girls with long hair must tie it neatly during college hours.
Hair should not cover the face or obstruct vision.
Facial Hair (Boys)
Beards and moustaches must be neatly trimmed and well maintained, where permitted.
Unkempt facial hair is not acceptable.
Nails
Fingernails and toenails must be short, clean, and well maintained.
Footwear
Students must wear the prescribed black formal shoes.
Shoes should be clean and polished.
Socks must be clean
Slippers, sandals, and sports shoes are not permitted unless specifically authorised.
Jewellery
Jewellery should be minimal and modest.
Boys should not wear earrings, chains, bracelets, or other fashion accessories unless
permitted for cultural or religious reasons.
Girls may wear small earrings. Heavy jewellery is discouraged.
Makeup and Accessories
Makeup should be minimal and natural.
Strong perfumes and excessive deodorants should be avoided.
Tattoos should remain covered where possible.
Personal Hygiene
Bathe daily and maintain good oral hygiene.
Carry a clean handkerchief and maintain proper personal grooming.
Ensure personal cleanliness to prevent body odour.
Prohibited Items and Practices
Coloured hair or unconventional hairstyles.
Fancy hair accessories.
Caps, hats, or hoodies inside academic buildings unless permitted.
Chewing gum, tobacco, gutka, pan masala, smoking, or vaping on campus.
Disciplinary Action
Students who fail to comply with the prescribed uniform and grooming standards may be subject to
the following disciplinary measures:
1. Verbal warning.
2. Written warning.
3. Parent notification.
4. Restriction from attending classes until grooming standards are met.
5. Further disciplinary action for repeated violations.
Students and parents are requested to extend their full cooperation in maintaining the discipline,
professionalism, and high standards of Indoglobe PU College.
