1. Cách dùng
- Diễn đạt một thói quen hoặc hành động lặp đi lặp lại trong hiện
tại
- Diễn tả chân lý, sự thật hiển nhiên
- Để nói về thời gian biểu, chương trình hoặc kế hoạch đã được
cố định theo thời gian biểu
2. Cấu trúc
- Khẳng định: S + V(s/es) với He/She/It;
S + V nguyên thể với các ngôi còn lại
- Phủ định: S + do not / does not + V nguyên thể
- Nghi vấn: Do/Does + S + V nguyên thể?
- Trả lời: Yes, S + do/does
No, S + don’t/doesn’t
Dấu hiệu nhận biết đặc trưng là các trạng từ chỉ tần suất:
always, usually, often, sometimes, never và cụm every +
thời gian.
