Amy I’m Amy, and I love the beach because we live in a big city and it’s a long way from
the ocean. My family and I usually go there for summer vacations. We go to the
same hotel every year, and it’s great. I go swimming every day, and when the waves
are good, I go surfing. It’s so much fun!
Narrator 2
Jake I’m Jake! I like visiting my grandparents’ house because my grandma’s a good cook
and she always cooks the foods we like. And I like their little dog, Otto. We usually
take it for a walk in the park across from the fitness center. We often have lunch
and dinner outside. That’s so cool! We can’t do that at home because we live in an
apartment.
Narrator 3
Carla My name’s Carla. We don’t live in a big town, so it only takes five minutes to get to
the forest. In the fall, the trees are amazing. I often go cycling there. Sometimes I
bring my lunch and eat it there, too. It’s so quiet and peaceful.
Narrator 4
Matt I’m Matt – and don’t laugh, but my favorite place is a restaurant. I always go there
for my birthday. My favorite foods there are tacos and steak. And they have a special
on Saturdays – you can eat as much chicken as you want for six dollars. They can’t
make much money when I’m there!
Narrator 5
Lucy I’m Lucy, and I want to be a vet when I leave school. So my favorite place is the
zoo. It’s expensive, so I don’t go very often, but I love it, especially the monkeys,
elephants, and tigers. I spend hours looking at them. I know some of them now, and
they’re really funny!
