National Institute of Technology Goa
CGPA : 8.24
Higher Secondary | 2021-2023
St. Kuriakose Senior Secondary School
CBSE Percentage : 95%

PROJECTS
Smart Environmental Comfort Monitoring System
• Developed a multi-sensor environmental monitoring system using Arduino with DHT11
(temperature), MQ135 (air quality), and LDR sensors (light intensity).
• Designed a weighted sensor algorithm to compute a real-time comfort index (0–100%)
from multiple environmental parameters.
• Implemented a visual alert mechanism with an LED indicator that activates when the
comfort level falls below 60%.
• Created a configurable system allowing adjustment of sensor weights for different
environmental monitoring applications.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Intern – Asaies Automation Pvt Ltd | 2025
• Gained hands-on exposure to industrial automation and electromechanical systems,
observing the interaction of sensors, actuators, and control units in automated machinery.
• Assisted in developing a machine vision–based fruit grading system using YOLOv8, with
model training and testing in Python and Google Colab.
• Studied the integration of embedded controllers, sensors, and electrical components
within the automation workflow.
• Supported engineers in system testing, debugging, and calibration, gaining insight into
control systems and hardware–software integration.

POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
PR Head of EBSB, Cultural Club of NIT Goa
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
I am a second-year [Link] student in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at
National Institute of Technology Goa. When I began my journey in EEE, I was
unsure about which area I wanted to pursue. The field felt vast, so instead of
deciding early, I chose to explore different areas through practical exposure
and hands-on work.

A major part of this exploration has been through coursework and electrical
engineering laboratories. The labs have helped me understand concepts
beyond theory by working with machines, circuits, and measurement setups.
These sessions allowed me to connect classroom learning with real-world
implementation and gradually built my confidence in handling equipment,
debugging circuits, and interpreting results.

At the end of my first year, I undertook an internship at Asaies Automation Pvt.

Ltd., where I was introduced to real-world electromechanical systems. I
observed and assisted in the testing and integration of systems involving
sensors and control units, gaining insight into how individual components
function cohesively within automated setups. This experience helped me better
understand the practical challenges involved in implementing theoretical
concepts

Alongside this, I worked on small projects to explore my interests further. One

such project was a multi-sensor Arduino-based system that calculated a
“comfort score” using inputs like temperature, air quality, and light. Through
this, I learned sensor interfacing, data handling, and how to design simple yet
functional systems, which helped me gradually narrow my interests.

A key turning point in my journey was participating in IEEE STPEC 2025, where I
gained exposure to cutting-edge developments in renewable energy, electric
vehicles, and power electronics. Engaging with ongoing research and practical
implementations highlighted the critical role of power electronic converters in
efficient energy systems. This experience brought a interest in power
electronics and its applications in sustainable energy technologies.

Although I have not yet formally studied these subjects in depth, I am genuinely
interested in learning them thoroughly. I see this internship as an opportunity to
learn from experienced faculty, strengthen my fundamentals, and gain
practical exposure beyond classroom learning.

Thus, I am applying to The Summer Internship Program at The National Institute

of Technology Calicut to work, and deepen my understanding of power
electronics and its applications in renewable energy and electric vehicles.

My journey from uncertainty to clarity has made me more curious and driven to
learn. I want to explore new technologies, challenge myself, and build the
knowledge required to contribute to innovations that are meaningful and
beneficial to the world.
