Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Process
Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will contribute to
process design, optimization, quality control, and continuous improvement
initiatives within an industrial or EV manufacturing environment. This role involves
working closely with cross-functional teams, monitoring equipment, and ensuring
compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Design and Optimization
● Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through
start-up and certification.
● Design and implement systems to automate processes and reduce manual work.
● Conduct process simulations, risk assessments, and identify efficiency
improvements.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting
● Collect and analyze data to understand process performance and identify areas
for improvement.
● Generate detailed process documentation, reports, and dashboards to support
decision-making.
3. Quality Control
● Establish and enforce quality control standards.
● Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address defects and
deviations.
● Implement measures to ensure process consistency and product reliability.
4. Equipment Maintenance
● Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
● Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements.
● Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
5. Continuous Improvement
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste,
and improve efficiency.
● Develop and execute action plans to resolve process-related issues.
6. Collaboration
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality,
and supply chain to ensure smooth workflow and process improvements.
● Communicate effectively with management to report progress and propose
enhancements.
7. Compliance and Safety
● Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with local, state, and federal
regulations.
● Develop and maintain safety protocols to protect workers and ensure a safe
working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background:
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related
field).
Experience:
● 6-7 years in a manufacturing, production, or process engineering role.
● Proven experience in process optimization, quality control, and
continuous improvement.
● Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and
control systems.
● Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
