Abstract
Title: Quick Access Dashboard for Frequently Used
Websites
The Quick Access Dashboard is a web-based application designed to provide users with a
simple and organized platform for accessing frequently used websites from a single interface. In
many browser centers, educational institutions, offices, and even for personal use, users spend
unnecessary time searching for commonly accessed websites such as Gmail, YouTube, Google,
banking portals, government services, travel websites, and educational portals. This process
reduces productivity and creates inconvenience for users.
The proposed system addresses this problem by providing a categorized dashboard that groups
frequently used websites into sections such as Personal, Banking, Government, Education,
Entertainment, and Travel. Users can quickly access their required websites with a single click,
eliminating the need to repeatedly search for URLs. The application also includes a search
feature to quickly locate websites within the dashboard, making navigation faster and more
efficient.
The system is designed with a clean and user-friendly interface by following basic UI/UX
principles to ensure simplicity and ease of use for users of all age groups. The project will
initially be developed as a responsive website using modern web technologies and can later be
extended into a mobile application with additional features such as personalized shortcuts,
favorites, recently visited websites, voice search, and user login.
The primary objective of this project is to improve user convenience, reduce search time, and
provide a centralized platform for accessing frequently used web services efficiently. This
solution has practical applications in browser centers, educational institutions, offices, public
service centers, and for individual users.
