-Executive Director Prof. Dr. Ashok Puranik, Principal College of Nursing Dr. Unmona
Borgihain Saikia, Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Neizekhotuo Brian Shunyu, and
Deputy Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Kaustav Kumar Bairagi joined the program to
welcome and congratulate the newly appointed Nursing Officers.
-Executive Director addressed the newly appointed Nursing Officers, emphasizing the
importance of:
1. Positive Attitude: Maintaining a positive outlook in life and workplace, even in
challenging situations.
2. Staying Updated: Keeping abreast with the latest technology, research, and
advancements in the nursing profession.
3. Optimism in Patient Care: Approaching patient care with a optimistic and
compassionate mindset.
4. Contribution to Research and Education: Encouraging Nursing Officers to participate
in research and education to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Principal CON welcomed and congratulated newly appointed Nursing Officers on

• Performance appraisal MOM
• Recording and Reporting

Program Day 2 (20 August 2024):

• Handover protocol and patient transfer procedures
• Hospital policies and procedures
• Inventory Management & material management
• Professional Code Of Ethics
• Needle stick injury
• Conflict management
• Leave Rules & EHS Policy
