Assembly Line

It’s true.
I have no shame left to give.
It’s too repetitive, even for me.
These people with boredom in their minds.
It’s too late for me to be reactive
all the time.
Always.

These cases of injustice,

inside tertiaries and secondaries,
dressed up as preschool "no-brainers."
There’s no beauty in this school system.
Full of filth wearing uniforms.
Masking theatrics in lessons.
Children suffering as entertainment.

Who’s there to protect you

when the gun is aimed at you,
and teachers tremble
rather than shielding you?
Who is left to save you?

Crisis increasing instead of averted.

Golden expectations among stressful demands.
Products defected before they’re even produced.
Students fall in line like soldiers.
No one knows who kills who,
or who dies next.

Fuck around in this day and time

and find out who’s the villain and the victim.
Among adults with a victim-god complex.
Among children and teens with rebellious grudges.

Watch out — your school might be next.

Be careful how you talk, or else.
Maybe your feet will be next,
six feet under the grave.

Fuck around with that ego,

and see where it leads you.
