Today marks a
milestone as we gather for the 1st Barangay Assembly of 2026. To officially begin
our proceedings, please all rise for the Processional of Guest and also The
barangay Officials of Centro Norte.
Hon. Marvin: Leading the way, let us welcome our Guest Speakers from

Hon. Marvin: Thank you. You may now be seated. A pleasant afternoon to our
fellow residents, our guests, and our local leaders! I am Hon. Marvin Verdadero,
and joining me today is the elegant Mrs. Mariette L. Abedes.
Mrs. Mariette: Good afternoon, Marvin! It is an honor to stand here with you.
Welcome to the 1st Barangay Assembly 2026.
Both:, with the theme: "Nagkakaisang Barangay Tungo sa Kalinisan, Kaayusan,
Kapayapaan, at Kaunlaran.”
Mrs. Mariette: isn't just a theme—it is our roadmap for 2026.
Hon. Marvin: Exactly, Ma'am Mariette. And to officially welcome us to this
assembly, let’s hear from Kag. Jonald Evilla for the Opening Remarks.
III. Messages of Support
Mrs. Mariette: Thank you, Kag. evilla. We are also incredibly fortunate to have the
full support of our Municipal leaders. To share a Message of Support, let us
welcome our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Andrew Vincent R. Pagurayan.

Hon. Marvin: Thank you, Mayor! We also invite our Municipal Vice Mayor, Atty.
Vicente G. Pagurayan, to share his thoughts with us today.
Mrs. Mariette: We also acknowledge the presence of our Sangguniang Bayan
Members who are here with us. Your presence shows that our barangay is never
alone in its journey toward Changes.
Hon. Marvin: At this point, we will hear a special message from the Department
of Interior and Local Government. To read the SILG’s Message to the Barangay, let
us welcome our MLGOO and Municipal Representative, Jasmin T. Balisi.
IV. Part II: Barangay Assembly Day Proper
Mrs. Mariette: Now, we move to the "Meat" of our assembly. This is where we
look at where we are and where we are going.
Hon. Marvin: To deliver the State of Barangay Address (SOBA), let us give our
undivided attention to PB Hon. Orlando D. Simeon.

Mrs. Mariette: Thank you, Cap! It’s inspiring to see the progress. But Kaunlaran
also requires Kapayapaan. To talk about the BIDA Program (Buhay Ingatan,
Droga’y Ayawan), let’s hear from our representative from PNP Tuguegarao.
Hon. Marvin: Safety first, always. And speaking of growth, let’s talk about our
local livelihood. We have Mrs. Rosalie Tumaneng, our MAO, for updates from the
Department of Agriculture.
Mrs. Mariette: Moving on to transparency—the backbone of Kaayusan. We will
now have the report on the Financial Status of the Barangay and the Automatic
Release of the SK Funds.
Hon. Marvin: Speaking of the SK, I am excited to share what the youth have been
up to! I’ll now step out of my MC shoes for a moment to present the SK
Accomplishments & Ways Forward.

Mrs. Mariette: Great job, Marvin! The youth are truly the spark of our Kalinisan
and Kaayusan programs. To round out our reports, let’s hear Updates from the
Municipal Government from Engr. Dennis Piñera, EnP.
