Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to develop an effective project proposal.
Task
For this assignment, you will prepare an 800-word proposal in block memo
format. Remember that you are proposing a project that you will initiate.
The purpose of your proposal is to:
● Clearly and accurately define a problem in your workplace or
community.
● Persuasively propose a solution to the identified problem using credible
research.
To complete this assignment successfully, your Project Proposal should:
● Read the Project Proposal Topic Examples.
● Complete your draft proposal following the template below, using the
problem in your workplace or community that you have decided to
address.
● Be sure to use feedback from Unit 2 Discussion 2 to improve your
proposed project.
● Identify the decision-maker clearly.
● Meet the word-length requirement.
● Use at least three credible sources.
● Follow the correct business style.
● Demonstrate ethical use of AI tools, if used, by documenting how you
used them and ensuring all ideas and writing are your own or properly
attributed.
Note: If you choose to use AI tools (e.g., for brainstorming, outlining, or
revising), include a brief note at the end of your proposal explaining what
tool you used and how you used it. Make sure any AI-generated content is
critically evaluated and clearly integrated into your own original work.
Proposals that include AI-generated content without proper attribution or
that rely on AI in place of original analysis and writing may receive reduced
credit. Responsible and transparent use of AI tools—if used at all—is
expected.
