Proportional Dimension Modification Robot

Problem Statement
In agriculture, traditional methods are prone to errors,
excessive pesticide use, and crop damage, with fruit
harvest losses as high as 15-20% and up to 25% of
crops lost due to undetected diseases. Current
solutions, remain expensive, costing between ₹2-50
lakhs, which is inaccessible to many small-scale
farmers.
Objective

The objective of the Proportional Dimension Modification Robot project is to develop a robotic system
capable of precisely adjusting dimensions in proportion to specific parameters, enabling tailored
modifications with accuracy and efficiency using image processing.
Novelty
Introducing a revolutionary robotic
system with dynamic size and
configuration adjustments using
cutting-edge linear actuator
technology. Integrated with image
processing, it operates autonomously
in diverse environments.
The methodology of the bot is quite
unique as compared to existing similar
products.
Methodology
This bot navigates its terrain of operation via the camera. The microprocessor unit works as
the sensing and image processing instrument for the detection of the obstacle size via the
image provided by the camera. Data obtained is then converted to motor data via the
microcontroller unit. This motor data is then utilized by the drivers to direct the servo
motors to work on adjusting the size of the bot. Following this the bot is accelerated and
traverses over the obstacle in its modified state.
