OFFICIAL MODULE GUIDE BOOK
Welcome to the comprehensive organizer and participant guide book for the upcoming
campus competitions. This document outlines the official rules, time durations, and permitted
tools for each individual module.

1. AI Hackathon (Civic Innovation Challenge)
THEME Use AI to solve a real civic problem in Pakistan.
TIME DURATION 3 Hours total
• 0:00 - 0:10 (10 mins): Opening Ceremony, Rules & Inspiration Tracks
• 0:10 - 2:00 (110 mins): Build Sprint (setup, build, and prep demo)
• 2:00 - 2:40 (40 mins): Team Presentations to Judges
• 2:40 - 2:50 (10 mins): Judging Deliberation
• 2:50 - 3:00 (10 mins): Closing & Winners Announcement
RULES • All work must happen exclusively within the 3-hour window.
• Teams must build something new (AI Model, Website, Mobile App, Browser
Extension, etc.). Copying or reskinning an existing tool is strictly prohibited.
• Stop building immediately when time is called.
• All team members must be physically present throughout the event.
• Presentations must cover: the civic problem identified, how AI was used, and a
working demo/visual.
TOOLS & EQUIP. • AI Tools: May be used freely to develop the solution.
• Participant Hardware: Laptops, laptop chargers, and a mobile hotspot (as a
backup connection).
• Organizer Resources: PC workstations (first-come, first-served), strong Wi-Fi,
projector + screen, extension cords, and a visible countdown timer.

2. UI/UX Design Competition
CHALLENGE Design, prototype, and present your best user-centered interface (one mobile app
screen OR one web page interface) based on a theme revealed at launch.
TIME DURATION 1 Hour (60 Minutes). No extra time allowed.
RULES • Strictly individual participation.
• Internet usage is limited only to design inspiration and copyright-free resources.
• AI-generated complete designs are completely banned unless explicitly
authorized.
• Plagiarism results in immediate disqualification.
• Submissions must include the source file and an exported preview (.PNG or
.JPG) sent before the timer ends.
TOOLS & EQUIP. • Software: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Participants must bring their own laptops.

3. Official E-Gaming Tournament
TEKKEN
FORMAT 1 vs 1, Single Elimination. A single match loss results in immediate knockout.
TIME/STRUCTURE Standard matches are Best of 3; Grand Finals are Best of 5.
FIFA
FORMAT 1 vs 1, Single Elimination. One loss results in disqualification.
TIME/STRUCTURE Single match duration. If a match ends in a draw, it proceeds directly to a Penalty
Shootout (no extra time).
GENERAL E-GAMING REGULATIONS & TOOLS
RULES • Environment: All matches and gaming will be conducted entirely on provided PC
stations.
• Consoles: If a participant wishes to bring and set up their own gaming console,
they are fully permitted to do so.
• Punctuality: Players must arrive within 5 minutes of their bracket call or face an
automatic forfeit.
• Fair Play: Cheating, exploiting in-game glitches, or using unauthorized hardware
macros will result in instant disqualification.
TOOLS & EQUIP. Players are encouraged to bring their personal controllers. Standard controllers will
be provided at the station if needed.

4. Logo & Poster Design Competition
TIME DURATION Strictly 60 Minutes. A centralized submission link opens at the 45-minute mark and
closes automatically at the 60-minute mark.
RULES • Individual work only; collaboration is strictly prohibited.
• 100% Original Work: No AI generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe
Firefly) are allowed for any elements.
• Logo Category: Pre-existing templates, stock vectors, or downloaded icons are
strictly prohibited.
• Poster Category: Royalty-free stock imagery (e.g., Unsplash) is allowed only if
heavily composited or manipulated into an original layout.
• Submission Format: A single compressed folder (.zip/.rar) containing the
original source file with intact layers and a high-resolution export (.png, .jpeg, or
.pdf).
TOOLS & EQUIP. • Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, or Figma.
• Standard pre-installed or open-source fonts.
• Designers can use their own laptops or PCs provided by the university.

5. Project Exhibition
SCOPE Innovative technology solutions across software, hardware, AI, IoT, cybersecurity,
web, or mobile.
RULES • Individual or team participation (maximum 3 members per team).
• Projects must be entirely original; plagiarism results in immediate disqualification.
TOOLS & EQUIP. • Teams must bring their own laptops, chargers, and any specialized equipment
required for their project.
• A working prototype, live demo, or digital presentation. Note: Internet access may
be limited, so offline backups must be prepared.

6. Speed Programming Contest
CHALLENGE An intense algorithmic coding competition mapping speed, optimization, and logic.
TIME DURATION Exactly 1 Hour (60 minutes), broken into three sequential rounds:
• Round 1 (Sprint): 15 Minutes | 3 Easy Problems
• Round 2 (Overdrive): 20 Minutes | 3 Medium Problems
• Round 3 (Mega Round): 25 Minutes | 2 Hard Problems
RULES • Submissions must be written entirely within the permitted programming
languages.
• Plagiarism or code sharing results in immediate disqualification.
• Penalty System: A 20-minute time penalty is added to the participant's total
ranking score for each rejected submission (WA, TLE, RE, CE).
• The Mega Twist (Round 3): Solutions must fulfill a strict, pre-specified optimal
Time Complexity constraint (e.g., O(N) or O(N log N)) to claim 150 bonus points
per problem.
TOOLS & EQUIP. Designated campus programming workstations and authorized compilers/IDEs for
the permitted languages.

7. Videography Module
CHALLENGE Film, edit, and finalize a social media reel completely on-site.
TIME DURATION 3 Hours total designated slot.
RULES • All participants must register and confirm their entry in advance.
• All content must be completely original and captured during the event hours. Pre-
recorded footage is strictly prohibited.
• AI-generated videos, scenes, or visual elements are completely banned.
• Stock footage may be used only if it is entirely copyright-free.
• Final reels must be uploaded via the provided submission link before the 3-hour
deadline.
TOOLS & EQUIP. • Participants' own recording devices (smartphones, DSLRs, or video cameras).
Equipment must be fully charged beforehand.
• Mobile or laptop editing software chosen by the participant to compile the final
reel.

8. Vibe Coding
TIME DURATION 2.5 Hours strict time limit.
RULES • Teams must develop their project completely within the 2.5-hour time window.
• Teams are expected to work independently. Collaboration with other competing
teams is strictly prohibited.
• The final project must be completely functional at the time of submission.
• Respect all participants and maintain sportsmanship and fair play throughout the
event.
TOOLS & STACK • Languages & Tech: Any programming language, framework, or tech stack is fully
permitted.
• AI Assistance: AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
are allowed and encouraged.
• Libraries: Open-source libraries and pre-existing packages may be used freely.
SUBMISSION Must submit the following criteria before the hard deadline:
• Team Name
• GitHub Repository Link (Source Code)
• Vercel Deployment Link (Mandatory for Web Projects)
• APK File or Download Link (Mandatory for Mobile Projects)
• Short Project Description (Strictly 2–3 sentences)

9. Board Game Module
LUDO COMPETITION
FORMAT • Individual competition.
• Matches will be played in a knockout format unless announced otherwise.
• Each participant will compete against one opponent per match.
RULES • Each player will use one color of tokens.
• The game will follow standard Ludo rules.
• A token can only leave the home area by rolling a 6.
• Rolling a 6 grants one additional turn.
• Landing on an opponent's token sends that token back to its home unless it is on
a designated safe square.
• A player must move a token whenever a valid move is available.
• The first player to move all four tokens to the home triangle wins the match.
• In case of any dispute, the decision of the event officials will be final.
GUIDELINES • Report to the venue at least 10 minutes before your scheduled match. Late
arrivals may forfeit the match.
• Handle the game equipment carefully. Personal boards or dice are strictly
prohibited.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or disturbing other participants will lead to
disqualification.
CARROM COMPETITION
FORMAT • Individual competition.
• Matches will be played in a knockout format unless announced otherwise.
RULES & FOULS • Standard carrom rules will be followed. The player winning the toss takes the first
break.
• The queen must be covered immediately after pocketing; otherwise, it returns to
the center.
• Fouls include: Pocketing the striker, touching coins with hands during play,
improper striking technique, and double hitting or illegal shots.
• The match winner will be determined according to standard scoring rules or the
announced format.
• The referee's decision is final in all disputes.
GUIDELINES • Arrive at least 10 minutes before your match. Outside coaching during a match is
strictly banned.
• Maintain proper sportsmanship and do not intentionally damage or misuse the
equipment.
• Excessive distractions or misconduct may lead to warnings or immediate
disqualification.
TOOLS & EQUIP. The campus will provide all mandatory equipment (Ludo boards, tokens, dice,
carrom boards, strikers, powder, and coins).

10. Scavenger Hunt Module
FORMAT • Team competition (Maximum of 3 members per team).
• Teams will solve a series of clues to locate checkpoints placed around the
designated event area.
• The team who successfully completes all tasks in the shortest total time will be
declared the official winner.
RULES • Teams must complete the hunt completely individually. Collaboration or receiving
outside assistance from other teams is strictly prohibited.
• Clues must be discovered and solved in the intended linear sequence unless
otherwise instructed by officials.
• After finding and solving a clue, participants must place it back exactly where they
found it. Failure to return any clue to its original layout location results in
immediate team disqualification.
• Participants must remain strictly within the designated boundaries of the
competition.
• Tampering with, hiding, removing, or damaging clues is strictly prohibited.
• Participants must not interfere with or obstruct other competing teams.
• Running in unsafe zones or engaging in any dangerous physical behavior is
strictly prohibited.
• Event officials reserve the right to inspect participants if required to enforce fair
play.
• The definitive decisions of the organizing committee are absolute and final.
LEADERBOARD • A live leaderboard will be dynamically maintained throughout the competition
window to ensure complete transparency and real-time checkpoint updates.
• Rankings update instantly as participants clear verified checkpoints.
• Any attempts to manipulate checkpoint timings or gain an unfair advantage will
lead to instant disqualification.
GUIDELINES • Report to the established starting checkpoint at least 10 minutes before the
official launch time.
• Bring a fully charged mobile phone.
• Follow all structural instructions given by event volunteers and field officials.
• Respect the campus ecosystem and carefully avoid disturbing ongoing university
classes or activities.
• Any form of active cheating, clue sharing, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result
in immediate disqualification.
