Job Summary:
As a Data Associate, you will be a foundational pillar in Straive’s data ecosystem,
directly impacting the quality and depth of our operational intelligence. Your primary
mission will be to meticulously classify, attribute, and maintain advertising content
across diverse media – including digital, mobile, broadcast (TV/radio), and print. This
involves not only the precise review of ads but also the diligent creation and upkeep
of product records within the product catalog, and the granular tagging of creative
elements that enrich our datasets for client consumption.
This role offers an exceptional entry point for detail-oriented individuals passionate
about building a robust career in data operations, with valuable exposure to
analytics, automation, and data governance pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
● Content Classification: Utilize the client’s proprietary platforms to meticulously
review and categorize advertising content across a spectrum of media (digital,
mobile, TV, radio, print), ensuring precise assignment of product, advertiser,
brand, and campaign details.
● Catalog Management: Establish and maintain comprehensive product records
within the client Product Catalog, adhering strictly to established governance
standards, documentation, and reference guidelines.
● Creative Attribution: Enrich advertising data by attributing key creative
elements – including audio cues, textual content, visual components,
promotional offers, pricing structures, seasonal themes, and target
demographics – using our specialized platforms.
● Process Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous operational
improvement by identifying inefficiencies, proposing innovative solutions,
streamlining workflows, and elevating overall speed, accuracy, and data
quality.
● Data Integrity: Proactively identify and report gaps in media details, taking
decisive action to ensure data completeness and integrity.
● Collaborative Communication: Foster clear and effective communication with
team members, leadership, and cross-functional operational teams.

differences and inconsistencies.
● Strong Analytical and Research Skills: The ability to quickly understand an
advertisement and efficiently search a large database/taxonomy to find specific
information is essential.

make accurate judgments based on product attributes.

platforms and websites.

Qualifications & Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any discipline
(technical background not required).
● Ideal for recent graduates or individuals with early-career experience in data
processing, operations, media, product cataloguing, or a related field.
● Exceptional organizational skills, a collaborative team player, and a proven
ability to meet tight deadlines.
● Demonstrated high degree of accuracy, proactive approach, and meticulous
attention to detail.
● Strong analytical aptitude and a natural inclination for data-driven processes
and operational workflows.
● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
● Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
● Flexibility to adapt to rotational working days (including holidays) and varying
working hours, dictated by the dynamic nature of media content.
Measures of Success:
● Data Accuracy: Consistently achieve and maintain a classification, attribution,
and catalog update accuracy rate of 98% or higher.
● Processing Efficiency: Meet or exceed defined team productivity benchmarks
for daily ad processing volume (classification and attribution mix).
● Data Completeness: Ensure over 95% of processed ads include all
mandatory product, creative, and metadata details.
● Quality Assurance: Maintain a rework/error rate below 2% of processed
volume through meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to
standards.
● Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to impactful process or tool
enhancements annually, driving improvements in speed, quality, or
automation adoption.
