PART 2: Topic Discussion (10 minutes)
Objective: To assess students' ability to discuss common topics in detail.
Instructions: Choose two topics from the list below. The student should speak for 2-3 minutes
on each topic. You may ask follow-up questions to encourage further discussion.
1. Daily Routine:
o Can you describe a typical day in your life?
o What time do you usually wake up, and what do you do after that?
o How do you spend your evenings?
2. Hobbies and Interests:
o What are your hobbies?
o Why do you enjoy these activities?
o How often do you do them?
3. Travel:
o Have you ever traveled to another country or city?
o What was the most memorable place you visited?
o Where would you like to travel in the future, and why?
4. Food and Cooking:
o What is your favorite food, and why do you like it?
o Do you like cooking? What do you usually cook?
o What is a traditional dish from your country?
5. Work/Studies:
o What do you do for a living, or what are you studying?
o What do you like most about your job or studies?
o What are your plans for the future in your career or education?
6. Technology:
o How often do you use the internet or social media?
o What do you usually do online?
o How do you think technology has changed the way we live?
7. Shopping:
o Do you like shopping? Why or why not?
o What do you usually buy when you go shopping?
o How has online shopping changed the way people shop?
