37. Answer the questions based on the given information:

Swaraj Dweep (SW) and Shaheed Dweep (SH) are two popular islands in
Andaman Islands. One has to take a ferry from Port Blair (PB) to reach these
islands. There are ferries that sail frequently between the three islands.

X is the set of all 5 places and Y is the set of all 3 places in Andaman Islands.
That is X = C ,V , PB, SW , SH  and Y = PB, SW , SH  . A relation R defined on
the set X is given by

R = ( x1 , x2 ) : there is a direct ship or direct ferry from x1 to x2  .


A function f : Y → X is defined by f ( PB ) = V , f ( SW ) = PB, f ( SH ) = SW .

38. Read the following passage and answer the questions given below:

Governing council of a local public development authority of a city decided to
build an adventurous play ground on the top of a hill have plain area and a
dedicated space for parking.
After survey, it was decided to build rectangular play ground with a semicircular
area allotted for parking at one end of the playground.

The total perimeter of the field is measured as 1000 m .

i) Obtain an expression in terms of x for the area of the field. 2
