1. Arrival Procession & Ceremonial Welcome

Good morning, respected Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinators, teachers, and my dear
friends. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to the Tagore House Assembly—a
celebration of thought, creativity, and values that continue to inspire generations.
Ahan:
Today, we gather to honour the life and vision of Rabindranath Tagore—a poet, philosopher,
and global thinker whose ideas remind us to think freely, feel deeply, and live meaningfully.
Geet:
Tagore once said, “Don’t limit a child to your own learning, for they were born in another
time.” These words encourage us to embrace new ideas and grow beyond boundaries.
Ahan:
Through today’s assembly, we invite you on a journey of reflection, creativity, and expression
inspired by his timeless vision.
2. Lamp lighting
Geet- As we begin this morning, we light the lamp as a symbol of knowledge, hope, and
courage — values that Rabindranath Tagore believed in deeply.
Ahan- May we invite our respected Ma’am Principal and Vice Principal to come forward
and light the lamp of knowledge.
Geet- Thank you, Ma’am and Sir, for that inspiring and symbolic gesture, reminding us that
great ideas grow when nurtured together.
3. Opening Prayer
Geet:
Before we begin this meaningful journey, let's bow our heads and pray to the Almighty and
express our gratitude for this beautiful day
Ahan:
We invite our teachers to lead us through a meaningful Rabindra Sangeet presentation— a
prayer for the purification and enlightenment of the body and soul.

4. Skit – The Unbearable Weight: Tagore’s Renunciation
Geet:
To understand the greatness of Rabindranath Tagore, we must look beyond the poet and into
the conscience of a man who dared to stand for humanity above honour.
Ahan:
This skit takes us through one of the most defining moments in Indian history — a moment
when art, courage, and truth stood against oppression.
Geet:
Witness how a Nobel Laureate and knight of the British Empire chose conscience over
recognition after the horrors that shook the soul of a nation.
Ahan:
Through powerful dialogue, emotion, and history, this performance reminds us that true

humanity.

Its words remind us to rise above fear, division, and ignorance, and to dream of a world

8. Instrumental Flute Presentation ---- (kyunki Tum Hi HO)

reflection, and the human spirit.” — It was the language of the soul.
Geet:
Through music, Tagore expressed emotions that words alone could never fully capture. As
Tagore once said, “Music fills the infinite between two souls.”

Today, our boys and girls are set to take the stage. You may wonder how the upbeat rhythms
of the South and the modern pulse of Bengal connect with Tagore’s philosophy. The answer
lies in his own beautiful words: “Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew
on the tip of a leaf.”
