1. Facing towards South, Vinod walked 50 m. He then turned to his right and walked 30 m. He

again turned right and walked 50m. How far is he from his original position and towards which

direction.

2. A man walks 10 km towards north. From there he walks 6 km towards south. Then he walks 3 km

towards east. How far and in which direction is he with reference to his starting point.

3. A man walks 5 km towards south and then turns to the right. After walking 3 km he turns to the

right. After walking 3 km he turns to the left and walk 5 km. Now in which direction is he from the

starting point

4. K is 40m southwest of L. If M is 40m southeast of L, then M is in which direction of K

5. Kailash walks 3km to East and turns south and walks 4km. Again turns west and walks 6 km.

How far is he from the starting point?

6. Pratap starts from school and walks 7 km towards East. He takes a left and walks 4km then takes

a right and walks 2km, again takes a right and walks 3km. Which direction is he face now.
