Intimate Filipino Christian Wedding Timeline (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Part 1: The Ceremony (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
● 10:00 AM – Processional: Standard walk-in of the entourage and the Bride.
● 10:15 AM – Worship & Message: Opening prayer, a worship song, and the Pastor’s
message.
● 10:45 AM – Vows & Traditions: Exchange of rings and the Filipino traditions (Cord, Veil,
Bible).
● 11:00 AM – The Pronouncement: You are introduced as husband and wife. The
ceremony ends.
Part 2: The "Social Hour" & Photos (11:00 AM – 11:50 AM)
● 11:00 AM – Group Altar Photos: The Emcee calls family and friends to the altar for
official photos.
● 11:00 AM – PHOTOBOOTH HOUR 1 OPENS: As guests finish their turn at the altar
photos, they are directed to the Photobooth and their seats.
● 11:30 AM – Natural Transition: Instead of hiding, you and your husband stay in the
room. You can take 5 minutes to drink water/retouch, then start mingling naturally with
guests at their tables.
● 11:45 AM – Call to Order: The Emcee asks everyone to settle into their seats. Since you
are already in the room, you simply take your seats at the Presidential/Couple's Table.
Part 3: The Blessing & Lunch (11:50 AM – 1:00 PM)
● 11:50 AM – The Combined First & Money Dance:
○ Since there was no "entrance," the Emcee invites you to the center of the room.
○ The Song: You start your First Dance.
○ The Transition: After 1 minute, the Emcee invites Ninongs/Ninangs and family to
come forward for the Money Dance/Blessing.
● 12:10 PM – Opening Prayer for Lunch: A Pastor or family elder prays for the meal.
● 12:15 PM – Lunch is Served: (Photobooth Hour 1 ends or pauses during the main eating
time).
● 12:45 PM – Table Hopping: You move from table to table to say a personal "Thank you"
and take a group photo with each table.
Part 4: The Program & Send-off (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
● 1:00 PM – The Toasts: Short messages from the Best Man, Maid of Honor, and one
Ninong/Ninang.
● 1:15 PM – Cake Cutting: A simple, sweet moment.
● 1:20 PM – Parent's Messages: Your parents give their "Pabaon" (words of blessing).
● 1:30 PM – PHOTOBOOTH HOUR 2 OPENS: Final chance for guests to get their
souvenirs.
● 1:40 PM – The Shoe Game: (Optional) A quick, fun game to liven up the room after the
meal.
● 1:50 PM – Couple’s Thank You Speech: Your heartfelt message to your guests.
● 1:55 PM – Closing Prayer: A final blessing over your new life together.
● 2:00 PM – End of Event: Guests depart with their souvenirs.
