The Little Lantern

Deep in a peaceful forest lived a tiny firefly named Lumi. Every evening the sky filled
with glowing fireflies, but Lumi's light was much smaller than everyone else's. The
young firefly often wondered if such a tiny glow could ever matter.

One evening Lumi visited an old owl who was known for giving wise advice. The owl
smiled gently and said, 'Never measure your worth by your size. A single small light
can guide someone through the darkest night.' Lumi carried those words in a hopeful
heart.

Soon dark clouds covered the moon, and the forest became unusually dark. A little
rabbit searching for berries lost the path home. Frightened and alone, the rabbit called
for help, but nobody could see through the darkness.

Lumi heard the cries and flew toward the sound. The tiny light was not strong enough
to brighten the whole forest, but it was bright enough to reveal the next safe step.
Slowly, carefully, rabbit and firefly moved together.

As they crossed a small stream, Lumi noticed loose stones. The firefly hovered over the
safest rocks so the rabbit could hop across without falling. Step by step, the journey
became easier because someone cared enough to help.

smiles and warm thanks. They said that without the little firefly, their child might have
wandered all night. Lumi felt happier than ever before.
