Reporting Manager Program Manager- Process
Team 6-10 Nation builders including program delivery leaders and Gandhi Fellows.
Role of Program Manager
The Program Manager will be responsible for designing, contextualizing & rolling out automation processes.
You will also be responsible to create design, manage development, enable deployment, and create a process
road map by conducting in depth diagnosis, segregate gaps and create process maps and co create holistic
solutions.
You will work closely with development and corporate sector in the State and:
• Lead design of tech solutions & IT systems/applications,
• Setup and lead governance cadence with various internal and external stakeholders
• Lead change management for tech adoption
• Recruit team, plan team capability development and coach team and cross functional teams
• Independently lead discussions with Government Officials & partner organizations
• And work closely with other pillars of the program and develop tech solutions.
Domain Expertise
The Program Manager will lead initiatives across districts in the State of BIHAR
Autorotation and Digitization of Processes
Analyzing and understanding the business processes
Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements.
Designing automated process solutions in accordance with standard design principles and
conventions.
Configuring new automated processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient,
well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
Creating and maintaining solution documentation.
Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change
control process.
Capacity Building
Developing and implementing people planning, including all learning and development related plans
Working with leads and HR colleagues to identify individual and team business related training needs.
Working innovatively with external partners to commission/develop appropriate training and
interventions to improve and enhance the learning and development offer.
Leading on the development of a culture of continuous improvement, introducing impact measured
analytics to demonstrate scale of success of learning and development.
Implement Solutions using Open-Source Technology
Clearly communicating the open-source strategy within and outside the company
Owning, implementing and overseeing the execution of the strategy
Maintaining open-source license compliance reviews and oversight
Launch new open-source projects, support releasing internal code.
Conduct internal technical workshops.
To provide a policy framework for rapid and effective adoption of OSS (Open-Source System)
Must Have
Ability to convert abstract ideas and concepts into concrete automation framework and content with
attention to stakeholder’s training and development needs.
A confident communicator, ability to dialogue professionally and diplomatically on complex issues
with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience working in dynamic work environments with a fair amount of ambiguity. Collaboration
with multiple internal/external stakeholders (individual and teams).
Ability to manage difficult partners and stakeholders and achieve a balance between relationship and
project outcome.
Job Requirements
Good written skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated
solution designs.
Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
The ability to conceptualize automated solutions and understand the prescribed design architecture.
An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or
as part of a team.

Experience and Qualifications-
Essentially BTech (CS/IT) /BCA or similar field. Masters will be added advantage. Diploma/Certification
in Development/Rural Mgmt. desired.
Eight years+ coding in or leading software engineering environments Experience working on at least
one successful and widely recognized open-source project.
Experience and familiarity with multiple programming languages
Ready to travel frequently (50% of the time) within the state at short notice
Excellent oral and written communication (Proficiency in hindi & English is a must).
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT knowledge and demonstrated experience)
Operations management, engagement with government departments and/or any consulting experience
will be an added advantage
