One Class Period of Chaos

Ziya: I leave you all alone for two minutes and everything falls apart.

Iris: We’re expressing creativity.

Dave: This is not creativity. This is confusion with sound effects.

Iya: Why am I already tired and the day just started?

Layla: Because mornings are illegal.

Airah: Facts.

Ariah: Announcement. We have a group presentation today.

Aliah: Today??? As in TODAY today???

Iris: I suddenly forgot everything I learned since kindergarten.

Dave: Same. My brain logged out.

Nori: Expected behavior.

Ziya: Relax. Panic will not create preparation.

Airah: Says the only calm person here.

Ziya: I panic internally. It’s more professional.

Iris: Leader, save us.

Ziya: I never signed up to be leader. You forced this responsibility on me.

Dave: We elected you for survival reasons.

Ziya: Fine. Roles now.

Ziya: Iya, introduction. Use your drama wisely.

Ziya: Iris, examples. You talk nonstop anyway.
Ziya: Ariah, research. You actually listen in class.
Ziya: Airah, slides. Technology respects you.
Ziya: Nori, conclusion. You sound intelligent naturally.
Ziya: Aliah, motivation. Keep everyone alive.
Ziya: Layla, timer. Try staying awake.
Ziya: Dave, presenting with me.

Dave: Sitting near you truly changed my life.

Ziya: Promotion accepted.

Iya: Good morning everyone—

Iris: Louder! Pretend grades are being released!

Iya: GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

Ariah: That volume was unnecessary.

Dave: The next classroom just learned teamwork too.

Nori: Free education.

Aliah: I’m nervous.

Ziya: You’re not even speaking.

Aliah: Emotional participation is stressful.

Layla: Is it lunch yet?

Dave: She only wakes up for food updates.

Airah: Honestly relatable.

Ziya: Stand straight. Look confident. Pretend we prepared last week.

Iris: Acting skills activated.

Airah: You’ve been acting prepared your whole life.

Iris: Survival skill.

Ziya: Today we will discuss teamwork.

Dave: A concept discovered ten minutes ago under pressure.

Iya: Teamwork means supporting each other.

Iris: Especially when nobody understands the assignment.

Ariah: Cooperation improves results.

Airah: And prevents embarrassment.

Nori: A strong group succeeds together.

Aliah: Believe in your team!

Layla: Time!
Iris: We actually sound organized.

Dave: Don’t say that. We might get more projects.

Iya: I feel proud of us.

Nori: Temporary character development.

Airah: It won’t last.

Aliah: Honestly without Ziya we would still be arguing.

Dave: True. She manages chaos professionally.

Ziya: I deserve extra credit for emotional labor.

Iris: We pay you in stress.

Ziya: I noticed.

Layla: Is it dismissal yet?

Dave: We survived another academic battle.

Ziya: Same chaos tomorrow?

Dave: Obviously. This group is permanent.

All: TRUE.
