Her alan, kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarına uygun olmalı
Exterior
In the nighttime view, the restaurant’s brand identity is prominently highlighted. The “ASIAN KITCHEN” signage, accentuated with LED
lighting, creates high contrast and visual impact in line with modern restaurant design principles. White typography applied on a black
background gives the space a modern and minimalist effect, while large glass surfaces establish a strong visual continuity between the
interior and exterior. Through transparency, strategic lighting, and prominent brand emphasis, the façade effectively underscores the
contemporary design.
Modular Awning System
The movable canopy structure offers a solution that adapts to climatic conditions by controlling natural light, thereby
fulfilling the principle of flexibility, which is one of the key requirements of contemporary design.
The retractable pergola–canopy system used on the terrace is among the modular and climate-adaptive solutions
frequently preferred in modern spatial design.
This system allows controlled entry of daylight while providing semi-enclosed protection against rain and sun, offering
users a comfortable outdoor experience. In this way, the principle of “integrating outdoor and indoor spaces,” which is
highly valued in modern restaurants, is successfully implemented in this design.
Terrace Area
The open and semi-open seating arrangement is designed with a user-comfort-centered approach.
The burgundy velvet chairs used in the terrace area reflect the comfort-focused lounge typology often seen in
modern restaurant designs, while adding a warm and inviting atmosphere to the space.
The seating layout is arranged flexibly to cater both to social groups and couples, supporting the versatile use of
the area.
Ceiling awnings, table surfaces and floor carry neutral tones.
A balancing palette has been created that is used in contemporary design.
The dark-toned deck flooring creates a harmonious, cohesive, and elegant appearance in the open space. All these
elements demonstrate that the design successfully meets contemporary design criteria such as flexible seating
arrangements, the use of weather-resistant materials, semi-transparent boundaries, and user comfort.
Lighting Design
The restaurant's lighting system is threefold:
1. Ambient Lighting :
Large bamboo pendants and warm ceiling lights.
2. Accent Lighting :
Spotlights directed at plants and lights accenting wall graphics.
3. Functional Lighting :
Low-intensity localized lighting above the tables.
Large-scale decorative pendant lights add atmospheric warmth to a space while
increasing spatial depth thanks to the shadows they create on wall and ceiling
surfaces.
The high-ceilinged main hall showcases a contemporary design approach that
emphasizes spaciousness.
Large pendant lights in bamboo or metal mesh, extending across the ceiling, combine
with warm-toned light to bring a modern interpretation of Asian aesthetics to the
space.
This lighting scheme offers a balanced setup, both in terms of creating atmosphere
and providing functional illumination. This creates an environment that successfully
implements contemporary interior lighting principles: layered lighting, warm tones,
and a balance between decorative and functional elements.
Biophilic Design
The indoor garden under the staircase is a successful example of
contemporary biophilic design. With its variety of plants, natural stones, and
focused lighting, it contributes both aesthetically and atmospherically,
offering users a sense of calm and connection to nature. Dark-leaved tropical
plants evoke the feel of Asian gardens while being arranged in a modern
composition.
A small sculpture reinforces the thematic direction of the space. The upward-
cast lighting highlights the texture of the plants, emphasizing the key
principles of contemporary biophilic design.
The wooden panels used on the ceiling create a contemporary
solution that reduces echo and enhances the acoustic performance
of the space, while the harmony of wood and metal is a
combination frequently employed in contemporary architecture.
The fish-themed graphics on the walls further reinforce the
restaurant’s Asian culinary identity with a modern and artistic
interpretation.
Having a socket next to each table is an important detail in
contemporary interior design.
The compact seating arrangement is organized with an
approach that prioritizes user comfort despite the efficient
use of space.
Wall Motif
The female figure representing Japanese culture in the entrance area,
along with leaf textures and red tones, integrates the restaurant’s
gastronomic identity with its aesthetic identity, offering users a unique
and contextually rooted experience.
This design approach successfully reflects a conceptual orientation that
aims to give character to the space and establish an emotional connection
with the user.
The wall mural featuring a Japanese figure prominently reinforces the thematic
identity of the space, while also serving as an example of spatial storytelling, an
important approach in contemporary interior design.
Staircase Design
Wooden steps give the staircase area a warm character while offering users an inviting
sense of transition.
The deep red wall surface, on the other hand, creates a strong contrast with the
surrounding lighter tones, serving as a visual axis that clearly defines the direction of
circulation. In this way, the “visual legibility of circulation,” which is emphasized in
contemporary design, is successfully achieved.
Seating Arrangements :
Linear seating benches are a contemporary seating solution that enhances
space efficiency while providing high comfort for users.
This linear arrangement along the wall facilitates the flow of the restaurant
while also offering an ergonomic seating alternative.
Ergonomics and User Experience
Ergonomic elements in the restaurant:
• High-backed and comfortable chairs
• Table widths ensure comfortable use
• Adequate walkways
• Different seating types (booth, chair, sofa)
• Semi-open and closed area options
The "user-centered" approach, emphasized by contemporary design, has
been effectively implemented in this venue.
The vertical wooden slats used on the central column add rhythm and
movement to the surface, creating a three-dimensional effect in the space.
The combined use of wood, burgundy and marble adds an aesthetic
atmosphere to the environment.
The red artificial flower tree decoration enhances the thematic aspect of the
space while serving as a striking focal point."
The windows positioned above allow natural light to enter
the space in a balanced manner, providing a minimalist
and functional aesthetic.
The use of red and burgundy colors is identified with Asian
culture and gives the space a strong identity.
Natural Tones – Wood
Represents warmth, intimacy, and naturalness.
