A Study on Generative AI Tools for Content Creation and

Problem Solving

1. Introduction

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to systems capable of generating text, images,
code, and other content based on input prompts. Tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and
Microsoft Copilot are transforming industries by enhancing productivity and creativity.
These tools are widely used in education, business, and software development for tasks
such as writing, coding, and summarization.

2. Literature Overview

AI has significantly impacted education by enabling personalized learning and automated

content generation. In business, it improves efficiency through automation and decision
support. In software development, AI assists in debugging, code generation, and
documentation.

3. Methodology

This study evaluates three AI tools: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. Tasks
performed include:

 Content writing
 Coding problem solving
 Text summarization

Prompts were designed to test each tool's capability in realistic scenarios.

4. Experiment & Results

Each tool was given identical prompts:

 Content creation: Writing an article on climate change

 Problem solving: Solving a coding problem
 Summarization: Summarizing a long paragraph

Results showed that ChatGPT produced the most detailed responses, Gemini offered
balanced outputs, and Copilot excelled in coding assistance.
5. Comparative Analysis

 Accuracy: ChatGPT > Gemini > Copilot

 Creativity: ChatGPT highest
 Ease of Use: Gemini simplest interface
 Speed: Copilot fastest in coding tasks

6. Discussion

ChatGPT performed best overall due to its detailed explanations and versatility. Gemini is
strong in user-friendliness, while Copilot is ideal for developers.

7. Challenges Faced

 Occasional incorrect or misleading outputs (hallucinations)

 Difficulty in crafting effective prompts
 Limitations in real-time data

8. Ethical Considerations

 Risk of plagiarism
 Bias in generated content
 Over-reliance on AI tools

9. Conclusion

Generative AI tools are powerful assets in modern workflows. ChatGPT leads in overall
performance, while Gemini and Copilot have niche strengths. Future improvements may
include better accuracy and reduced bias.
