1. First question; would you be so kind as to describe to me your background and


experience as a writer?
2. Can you walk me through some of your best writing samples and explain why you're
particularly proud of them?"
3. Describe your typical approach to a writing project or assignment task, from initial
concept to final draft."
4. About time management, how would you prioritize a scenario where you have to work on
multiple tasks that are up for tight, competing deadlines?
5. Regarding your research skills, what ways do you generally take to research topics you
are unfamiliar with for various writing projects?
6. Give an example of a project in which you were requested to write in a style different
from your own, and what strategies did you use?
7. On feedback, how do you generally handle customer comments or requests for revisions?
8. Are there any companies or types of content you prefer or specialize in?
9. How would you overcome writer's block? If possible, provide a specific example of when
this occurred and how you overcame the issue.
10. What approach do you take to self-edit and proof your work?
11. Have you worked with other writers, editors, or content teams? How would you prefer to
approach collaborative projects?
12. What writing or project management tools do you use on a regular basis within your
analytical tools?
13. What is your normal availability, and how many projects can you comfortably handle at
any given time?
14. What are your standard rates, and how do you structure your pricing: per word, per page,
per hour or per project?
15. If given a rush job with an extremely tight deadline, how would you go about maintaining
quality while meeting the time constraint?
16. Is there anything you would like to know about our company, or what kind of writing
projects we are generally undertaking?
