While telling a personal story, we should follow a structure, which includes the
beginning, middle and ending of the story.
In the beginning, we should Introduce the characters, place, and situation.
In the Middle part, we should describe the main events or problems.
And in the Ending, we should share what happened and what you learned.
Video 2
Beginning: One day, I was walking to school and I saw a little puppy stuck in a fence.
Middle:
I felt worried and wanted to help. I carefully pulled it out. The puppy was scared, but I
talked to it gently and made it calm.
Ending:
Finally, I took the puppy to my neighbour who could take care of it. I learned that even
small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Ending: Even though it wasn’t perfect, I learned that we should not give up when we
make mistakes.

Hello everyone,
Yesterday, we learned about the basics of storytelling, how every good story has a
beginning, middle, and ending. Today, we are going one step further.
“Developing a story means arranging our ideas in a clear and interesting way.A
well-developed story helps the listener understand what happened, where it happened,
and why it is important.
When our story is clear, people enjoy listening to us and remember our message.”
You may make small mistakes, and that’s okay. Confidence comes when we focus on
sharing the idea, not on being perfect.
Video 2
“Last Sunday morning, I was playing in the park near my house. While running, I noticed
something shining on the ground. When I picked it up, I saw it was a watch.”
“I looked around but no one was there. After some time, a man came searching and
looked very worried. I gave him the watch and he smiled with relief. That day, I learned
that being honest makes us feel proud and peaceful.”
Template
“During our summer vacation, my cousins and I went to a village near a hill. One
afternoon, we noticed a narrow path behind the trees. Curious, we decided to follow it.”
“The path led us to a small cave hidden between rocks. Inside, we found old drawings
on the walls and a cool stream flowing. We took pictures and talked excitedly about who
might have lived there long ago. The cave felt mysterious and magical at the same time.
When it started getting dark, we safely returned home, feeling proud of our little
adventure.”
•Students can also narrate their own personal story. (Optional)
Day 9- Presentation
Video 1
Today, we are going to learn about an important life skill called presentation skill. This is
also an important part of public [Link] skill helps us express our ideas
clearly and confidently in front of others.
A presentation should have strong start. Because it grabs the audience’s attention.
When you start confidently, the audience becomes interested in listening to you.
“Pauses are short breaks while [Link] help us breathe, think, and make our
words clear.
“A good ending leaves a strong [Link] can end with a message, a lesson, or a
question.

Presentation:
The Solar System is made up of the Sun, eight planets, their moons, and other space
objects like asteroids and comets. The Sun is at the centre of the Solar System and
gives us heat and light.
The eight planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and
Neptune. Each planet is different in size and nature. Earth is special because it has air,
water, and living beings.
The planets move around the Sun in fixed paths called orbits. This movement helps
create day and night and different seasons on Earth.
In conclusion, the Solar System is vast and wonderful, and it helps us understand how
space works.
Thank you.

The human body is made up of many parts that work together. Some important parts
are the brain, heart, lungs, stomach, bones, and muscles. Each part has a special
function.
The brain controls our thoughts and actions. The heart pumps blood to all parts of the
body, and the lungs help us breathe. Bones give shape to our body, and muscles help
us move.
Our body also needs proper food, exercise, and rest to stay healthy. Drinking water and
maintaining cleanliness are also very important.
In conclusion, the human body is amazing, and we should take good care of it.
Thank you.
My body has many parts like head, hands, legs, eyes, ears, and nose. Each part helps
me do different things. I see with my eyes and hear with my ears.
My heart helps me live, and my lungs help me breathe. My hands help me write and
play, and my legs help me walk and run.
I should eat healthy food and keep my body clean.
Thank you.
A speech is a powerful way to share ideas, express opinions, and inspire others.
Formal speeches are used in important events like school functions, meetings, and
ceremonies. A good formal speech shows confidence, respect, and clarity.
Next, the speaker should explain the topic clearly by using simple and meaningful points
and also speak calmly and confidently.
In conclusion, the speaker should summarise the speech, end it with a positive
message and also should thank the audience politely.
Video 2
Today, I stand before you to speak on the topic ‘The Importance of Education’.
Education is the foundation of a successful life. It helps us gain knowledge, develop
skills, and understand the world around us. Education teaches us discipline,
responsibility, and values that shape our character.
Through education, we learn to think critically and make the right decisions. It opens
doors to better opportunities and helps us contribute positively to society. An educated
person not only builds a good future for themselves but also helps in building a better
nation.
In conclusion, education is not just about books and exams; it is about learning how to
live a meaningful life. Let us respect education and make the best use of it.
Template
Today, I feel honoured to speak on the topic ‘Discipline is the Key to Success’.
Discipline means following rules, managing time wisely, and doing our duties sincerely.
It helps us stay focused and organized in everything we do. A disciplined person knows
the value of time and works hard to achieve goals.
In our daily life, discipline helps students study regularly, respect elders, and maintain
good habits. Successful people in the world follow discipline to reach their dreams.
Without discipline, talent alone cannot lead us to success.
In this video, let us talk about another type of speech. Speeches are not always formal.
Many times, we speak at family gatherings, birthday parties, or friends’ meetups. This
type of speech is called an informal speech.
We should greet the audience casually without the need of mentioning their
designations.
And we can also Start with a friendly line.
Example:
Then, End with a warm or happy [Link] is optional in this case but always Smile
and keep it light.
Example:
Video 2
One of my favourite memories with my family is our last vacation together. We travelled,
ate a lot of food, and laughed all the time. Even small moments like sitting together and
talking late at night made the trip special.
Spending time with family always makes me feel relaxed and happy. These memories
are very close to my heart.
I want to share a funny moment that happened with my friends last year. One day, we
decided to cook noodles together when no one was at home. We thought it would be
very easy. But instead of water, one of my friends added too much salt!
When we finally tasted it, it was so salty that no one could eat it. We all started laughing
and teasing that friend the whole day. Even today, whenever we talk about cooking, we
remember that moment and laugh again.
Day 12-Debate
What is a debate?
A debate is a formal discussion where two teams speak for and against a [Link]
team presents points to support their side and tries to convince the audience.
The speaker should start by Greeting the audience and then Clearly state his/her stand
(for / against the topic)
And the speaker should Sound confident and clear
Example:
“Good morning everyone. I stand before you to speak in favour of the topic…”
or
Confidence, Clarity & Structure are very important in a debate. The speaker
should Speak slowly and clearly, have to Maintain eye contact and Use simple
language. And also Follow the order: Introduction -Points - Conclusion
Effective Conclusion
Speaker should Summarise the points and Restate his/her stand. And also should End
the debate strongly and confidently.
For Example:
Debate topic
Supporting points
•Phones give access to videos and tutorials that make learning fun.
Opposing points
•Distraction in class – Students may play games or use social media instead of focusing
on studies.
•Reduces social interaction – Phones can stop students from talking and interacting with
friends and teachers.
•Cheating during exams – Phones can be misused to cheat in tests and exams.
•Health issues – Excessive use can affect eyes, posture, and sleep.
•Cyberbullying risk – Phones can expose students to bullying or unsafe content online.
Ayansh:
“Good morning everyone! I strongly believe that mobile phones should be allowed in
schools. They help students access educational apps, do research, and make learning
more fun. In emergencies, students can contact their parents immediately.”
Malavika:
“I understand your points, Ayansh, but I oppose this idea. Mobile phones can distract
students during class. Instead of studying, they might spend time on games or social
media.”
Ayansh:
“That’s true, Malavika, but if we use them responsibly, they can be a great tool.
Teachers can even use phones for educational activities and online quizzes, which
makes learning interactive.”
Malavika:
“Even with responsible use, there are risks. Excessive screen time can harm our eyes
and sleep. Also, phones can be misused for cheating or cyberbullying.”
Ayansh:
“Those are valid concerns, but schools can make rules to prevent misuse, like allowing
phones only for learning or emergencies. This way, students get the benefits without the
problems.”
Malavika:
“I see your point, Ayansh. But I still feel the risks outweigh the benefits. Phones can
easily become a distraction and affect students’ focus on studies.”
Ayansh:
“Maybe, but I believe that teaching students to use technology responsibly is important
for the future. Phones are a part of life, and schools can guide us to use them wisely.”
Malavika:
“Alright, I agree that guidance is important. But personally, I feel schools should limit
phones to special situations rather than everyday use.”
Ayansh:
“Fair enough! I think we can both agree that responsible use and proper rules are key.”

My name is Ayansh, and today I am excited to speak about why public speaking is a
superpower for students.
Many students feel nervous while speaking in front of others, and I used to feel the
same way. I remember the first time I was asked to speak on stage, my hands were
shaking and my voice was very low. But when I started practicing, I realised something
important, confidence grows only when we try.
Public speaking helps us express our thoughts clearly. It teaches us how to organise
ideas, share opinions, and connect with people. When we speak confidently, people
listen to us.
Let me ask you a question, have you ever had a great idea but felt scared to say it out
loud? That is exactly why public speaking is important.
In my opinion, public speaking is not about speaking perfectly, but about speaking
honestly and confidently. It helps us in classrooms, interviews, and even in daily life.
In conclusion, public speaking is truly a superpower. The more we practice, the stronger
it becomes. So let us not be afraid of the stage, because the stage is where our voice
finds its power.
Thank you.
Video 2- Feedback
Hello everyone.
I really liked how he shared a personal experience, which made the speech relatable.
The audience-engaging question was effective and kept listeners involved. He also
expressed his opinion clearly and confidently.
His conclusion was strong and inspiring, leaving a positive message for everyone.
One small suggestion would be to use slightly longer pauses to make key points even
more powerful.
Hometask
My name is ________, and today I would like to speak on the topic ‘Mistakes Are the
Best Teachers’.
Many of us are afraid of making mistakes. We worry about being judged or laughed at.
But in my opinion, mistakes help us learn and grow.
I remember a time when I gave a wrong answer in class and felt embarrassed. But later,
when the teacher explained it again, I understood the concept clearly and never forgot
it. That mistake actually helped me learn better.
Let me ask you all a question—have you ever learned something new after making a
mistake?I am sure most of us have.
Mistakes teach us patience, confidence, and courage. They remind us that learning is a
process, not a competition.
