INDEPENDENCE DAY COMPARING SCRIPT

Nandini:
Prasuk:
Nandini: We stand here with a sense of pride, knowing that we are
fortunate to live in a country where freedom and democracy prevail.
Independence Day is not just a day to host our national flag and enjoy a
day off; it is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our forefathers and
the responsibility we have to uphold their legacy.
Prasuk:
Nandini: Our nation is a vibrant mosaic of cultures, languages, and
traditions. To celebrate this diversity, we have some enchanting cultural
performances lined up that showcase the beauty and unity of our
country. So, immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of India’s cultural
heritage. Let us begin with the flag hosting ceremony. Now, may I
request our honorable bursar sir, eminent principal sir and respected
operation manager sir to unfurl our tricolor as we sing our national
anthem with utmost respect and pride. Let’s all rise and enjoy together
in unison to pay our respects to the symbol of our sovereignty.

Intro of people who are going to escort them.. (Prasuk)

Nandini: Thank you sir!

Prasuk: The tricolor flag flutters majestically the three colors on our
national flag saffron, white and green which symbolizes sacrifice of
millions who died fighting for it and peace and prosperity that prevails
in our nation. It reminds us of our responsibility that we have towards
our very own country India.
Let’s praise and cheers to Independence Day I once again welcome all
of you on the significant occasion of 77th Independence Day.

On this momentous occasion, let us reflect on the journey of our nation

from colonial rule to become a sovereign, democratic republic. I would
like to invite Richa Saxena from class 12 commerce A and Kanak Agarwal
from class 12 science to share their thoughts and insights on our
progress, challenges and aspirations as a nation. Cheer them up with
thunderous round of applause.
Nandini: Thank you, Richa and Kanak, for pouring your thoughts out
beautifully.

Prasuk: Now I am pleased to call upon the students for the Hindi poem
recitation:
First, we have Vartika of class III-A, thank you Vartika.
Next, we have Ayushman Singh of class V-A, thank you Ayushman
Moving ahead we have Yana Mali of class IX-B, thank you Yana
Now I would like to call upon Monika Saran of class X-B, thank you
Monika.
Last but not the least we have Khushi P. of class 10-C, thank you Khushi.
Prasuk: ----complement-----

Nandini: Everybody is eager to sink into the depth of patriotic music

and now Chinmayee Dave of class X-B is going to present a power
packed solo music performance.
Nandini: Thank you, Chinmayee, for your spellbound magical
performance. Let’s give her a huge round of applause.

Prasuk: Music does have the power to move hearts! Now, moving
forward I call upon Jayan Ahuja of class X-A for reciting an english poem
on __________________.

Nandini: Patriotic Songs give people a feeling of nostalgia, a sense of

belonging to the motherland, strength and stability. People can be
totally different but when it comes to the compassion to their country,
they stand as one. Let’s hear a patriotic mashup a tribute to our
motherland and for that I invite Disha, Avika, Chinmayee and Isha. Here
they go!
Nandini: Thank you girls! That was indeed a heart-touching
performance.

Nandini: We fall short of words so often when we talk about the

soldiers and their families. Truly we owe our freedom to such valiant
soldiers …… moving towards… What light is to the eyes, what air is to
the lungs, what love is to the heart and what liberty is to the soul of a
man. With this I would like to call upon the captain of our own sail our
dignified bursar, Dr. Shishir Shrivastava sir to address the gathering. We
welcome you sir on stage.
Thank you, sir!

Prasuk: As we conclude our event, let’s take a pledge to strive hard and
contribute to the development of our nation. Let’s not take our
freedom for granted and remember ‘freedom in the mind, faith in the
words, and pride in our hearts.’ Let’s salute the nation on this
Independence Day. Now I request everyone to please get ready for the
national song.

Nandini: Independence Day is also a time to reflect on our

responsibilities as citizens. Let us remember that the freedom we enjoy
today came at a great price, and it is our duty to preserve and enhance
it for the generations to come. We must embrace the values of unity,
tolerance, and inclusivity and work towards building a nation that
stands as a shining example to the world.
As we wrap up our celebration, let us carry the spirit of Independence
Day in our hearts throughout the year. Let us strive to be better citizens,
cherish our diversity, and work towards a prosperous and harmonious
nation.
Jai Hind!
