Duration: 45–60 minutes
Objectives
At the end of the activity, students will be able to:
1. Analyze the content and historical context of a primary source.
2. Identify the historical significance of the document.
3. Explain the author's purpose, argument, and point of view.
4. Present their analysis collaboratively.
Group Formation
Divide the class into 8 groups. Assign one primary source to each group.

Part IV. Author's Main Argument and Point of View
Identify:
What message is the author trying to communicate?
What is the author's perspective or bias?
What evidence supports the author's argument?
