The Death Scripture has four secret arts:

Death Soul (死魂)


Its allows the user to create three separate souls that can be
hidden. As long as any of them exists the user can't be killed
even if his body and Fate Palace are destroyed. However, the
Death Souls didn't grant eternal life, they are just protect the
user from being killed; the user still can die of old age. There
are only two ways to kill the user of the Death Soul art: finding
and destroying the three souls or waiting for the user to die of
old age.

Death Record (死记)


It forms an eighteen-petal white flower inside user's mind.
After successfully creating the Death Record, each time the
user died, one of the flower petals would be activated.

For the Death Record, death is a good thing. There is a mantra


inside the technique:

“ One fate accumulated from three deaths, one item formed


from six deaths, one life changed from nine deaths, and
eighteen deaths to reach the high heavens. „

Basically one should die a determined number of times to


obtain something:

3 deaths: An opportunity to get a treasure/creation. (Li Qiye


was transported to the Sky Dome and obtained the opportunity
to be baptised in the Primal Ground's Blood Pond. In that place,
he got the Heavenly Dao’s Primal Chapter and the Dao Sword.)

6 deaths: An item. (Li Qiye obtained the legendary Trident but


it was exchanged for the Iron Maelstrom.)
9 deaths: A new life.
18 deaths: Unknown(High Heavens).

Death Seal (死印)


When this seal is completed, if user's body suffered any injury,
all the damage would be instead redirected to the Death Seal
and transformed into Death Qi. The larger and more fatal the
injury, the more Death Qi is generated and stored. It also
makes the user's body more resilient to what injured it.
However there is apparently a limitation or something, if the
damage is too high then it can leave an injure that isn't easily
healed; though he can still be revived.

Death Chapter (死章)


It requires a huge amount of Death Qi in order to be used. It
allows the practitioner to use Death Qi to reanimate and
control corpses and remains of anything that was previously
alive.
