01 Name/ Title of the Project:

MID YEAR INSET: Empowering Educators through Wellness, Financial

Literacy, and Reflective Practice

02 Proponent Office:

SINALOC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

03 Nature of Activity:
2025 MID YEAR IN SERVICE TRAINING (INSET) FOR TEACHERS
04 Brief Description of the Project/General Rationale:

Various trends shape and change the world of education today. Those trends

rapid developments in Information and Communications Technology (ICT),
and social connections and values. For this reason, policymakers have

reform and change. Change attempts in education aim to narrow the
widening gap between the traditional capabilities of educational systems and
the emerging demands of the information age (Hallinger & Kantamara, 2000).

learning itself. Hence, it can be said that the profession of teaching
requires utilizing new trends and knowledge throughout the career which leads
teachers to follow continuous professional development. In this way, teachers
may be able to fulfill their professional roles in the changing contexts in which
teachers work and learning takes place. Due to rapid changes in every phase of
society around the world, teachers’ adaptations to these changes and
long-term professional development have gained more attention. As a result, it
is argued that teacher professional development and continual deepening of
knowledge and skills are the major focus of systemic change and development in
