From (a) above, we have, A = {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12} P = {x : x is even natural number and 2 ≤x < 7}

A = {x : x is an even number and 2 < x < 16} Passed in both Bangla and English = 40%
= {4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14} Passed in Bangla only = (65 – 40)% or, 25%
B = {x : x is factor of 12} And passed in English only = (55 – 40)% or, 15%
= {1, 2, 3; 4, 6, 12} ∴Total pass = (40 + 25 + 15)= 80%
