TASK 2

Tue Minh

In the modern society, it is notable that many parents from all over the world demand their
children to pay more attention to their education. Buried in books every day, which lead to a lack
of time for their own activities. In this essay, I will provide some benefits and drawbacks on this
pesition.
To begin with, the reason why parents demand their children so much because they want
their offspring to be successfull. For instance, most Asian parents are obssesed with success, they
expect their child to have more accomplishment in education and some specializations from their
young age. The youth from these countries spent about 12 to 15 hours on studying. One of the
positive sides of this kind of studying is a chance to enroll in top universities and have
opportunity to have a well pay job.

Hoai Anh

In today’s globalized world, it is worth noting that many parents want their children to focus
more on their education, often to the point where there is no time left over for other activities.
Although this kind of treatment has a lot of advantages, it is not appropriate for teenagers.
To begin with, children can develop a strong work ethic and feeling of aspiration if their
parents are very talented learners. This may result in better academic performance, more
professional opportunities, and an overall better life in the future. It may also translate into
increased motivation and dedication to their studies. If a child is consistently motivated to strive
for perfection, they can attempt to acquire new abilities, cultivate an insatiable curiosity, and
eventually make great strides in their chosen subject. Most importantly, this results in a highly
educated populance living in a developed, civilized society.
On the other hand, there may be drawbacks to peacing an unwarering focus on academic
achievement. The owus of success can be too much for the young to handle, which can cause
worry, anxiety and weariness. Lack of leisure time can also inhibit social growth, impede the
pursuit of alternative hobbies and skills that might lead to a rewarding job or passion and restrict
creativity. In addition, a decrease in community involvement and the need for unity among
people can result from a lack of free time.
In conclusion, it is evident that parents have high academic expectations for their child has
both advantages and disadvantages not only with teenagers but also with the development of the
nations in the future.

There has been a phenomena that parents expect their children to put more priority in
learning; leading to the lack of leisure time. Hence, I would like to cast light on the merits and
demerits of this tendency.
On the one hand, people who advocate this idea have their concrete reasons. One compelling
justification is that students who spend more time study are more imlined to achive decent
certifications which are required in order to get a good career. To clarify this idea, qualifications
may not the guarantee for adolescent to ensure a great job but it can easily boost its feasibility.
Therefore, as the young generation is all access to the adequate education, highly educated
bbours will appear which can lead to the increasing acceleration in the development of the
nation. Besides, there is also theory about forcing children to learn as an assistance for them to
avoid those deviant thoughts of the outside.
On the other hand, people who do not emphasize this kind of thought also have their concrete
reasons. In particular, there has been a analys compared these kind of students with the normal
one through numorous tests and the outweight candidates are surprisingly the normal one. To
explain this result, adolescents who spend most of their time learning all have to suffer from an
endless circulation of studying, where they cannot have enough time to develop other skills like
soft.

To some part of the world, there is a phenomenon that children are under pressure of high
score in school by parently, which it leads to the short’s of spare time. This phenomenon give
both advantage and disadvantage for adolescent.
On the one hand, put a burden on academic’s score of youngsters give them some merits in
future. Firstly, their high score help them get more opportunity in future career. With the high
score in their degrees, they might find a decent occupation in a big companies. Therefore, their
salaries will be enough for maintain their life. Secondly, adolescent might have pride with other
students. For example, in some countries in eastest asian, families always show off their children
with relationship. Therefore, get high marks is the way brings child a little motivation.
On the other hand, parents who expect high academic marks in student are harming their
children health. Firstly, reducing leisure time might harm physical health. Children do not
enough time to hang out and do spent after a hard time at class. It leads child some issues

In the today’s world, it is notable that in some countries, children are suffer from the high
academic expectations from their parents. Therefore, children have less time for leisure activities
and always focus on their education. From my point of view, this issue have both profits and
detrimental effects on the children and the society.
On the one hand, the high expectations from parents can turn into a motivation for students.
Because of the hope for a find well-paid job and the opportunity to apply to the top university,
many students spend about 16 hours a day to study. For example, in some Asia countries such as
China, students study until midnight before any important examination. This may help students
to highly concentrate on their study and easily improve their academic achievements.
On the other hand, study too much and children are under pressure from parents can led to
severe consequences. Being lack of leisure activities can cause students to be stressed and reduce
their physical health. In many case, although parents only hope for the good things, they treated
their children difficultly, causing a detrimental effects to the students. In Korea, the number of
students who choose to commit suicide because of pressure from study and parents increase day
by day.
In conclusion, children should balance both study time and leisure time and the parents
should not put emphasis expectations on their children to increase the quality of academic
results.

Quynh Anh
It is said that more and more parents in certain countries have high academic expectations for
their children, which leads to limited leisure time. From my perspective, this topic has both
advantages and disadvantages and this topic will be mentioned in this article.
First of all, children can become more confident in the future by becoming accustomed to the
stress of learning at a young age. For example, children often have good memories, so cultivating
knowledge for them can help them remember for a long time and lay a foundation of knowledge.
Second, children will have a sense of learning. Nowadays, when children have phone too early, it
can cause distractions in their studies. For example, more and more children are dependent on
game, leading them to neglect their studies.
On the other hand, children may experience pressure and depression as a result of this. A lot
of parents exert too much control over their children, causing them to lose energy and feel
discouraged in their studies and family matters. For example, the pressure from their parents
causes thousand of children to commit suicide every year (Chines, Korea,…). Second, not
having time to rest will cause children to lack life skills. Without children having time to explore
life skills, it will be difficult for their future if they only focus on knowledge in books.
In conclusion, excessive pressure on children can cause them to lose their spirit anspirit,
however, this may achieve career success. Therefore, parents must come up with the best
teaching method to ensure that their children develop in the most positive way.
